Hey all, recently I've been having two big issues with the The Torn Bookie.

1. They have been refunding my MLB bets the second that a game goes into a rain delay. Only for the game to resume and finish after a short break.

A prime example is from last night, July 5th (Boston vs Detroit). There was a delay for about an hour or so to start the 6th inning but the game ended up finishing in the same evening with the MLB saying the scores are official. Winnings on Boston should have been paid.

Obviously I'd like to receive my winnings from this game. But also, I'd like to know why they're refunding bets during a rain delay. I've also been dabbling in Cricket during the ICC World Cup, and with all the rain delays that they've had, I've never experienced the same issues.

2. They have been refunding games where there has been a pre-game pitching change, but they never listed starting pitchers in the first place.

My example would be from July 1st (Baltimore vs Tampa Bay) where my bet on Tampa Bay was refunded immediately when the game started due to a change in starting pitchers.

The issue of contention is that if the Bookie doesn't list the starting pitchers when you place the wager, your bet should stand regardless of who starts the game. They shouldn't be able to refund your bet just because someone else is going to pitch if they didn't clarify who would be pitching at the time that your bet was placed.

Ultimately, I'd like to be compensated for these two wagers, but more importantly, would like to see changes made to the Torn Bookie in order to keep them on par with industry betting standards. I've never known a sports book to refund or void bets for either of this situations.

Please let me know if you guys have experienced the same issues. Give examples, and share your insight. Good luck with your bets!
