We have very few requirements otherwise, basically, showing up and doing some hits is enough for now.
could have been 17b in faction funds and 10b in member funds. something like that.
i guess you could technically have lead or co lead keep some of the faction funds invested elsewhere. but depending on the type of investment, you might not be fast enough to take them out when needed, and it can also be difficult to figure out how much of the money is factions' ... and then it looks like the leader is skimming the funds
dude, if you want to play torn at some decent level, please get a faction. there are even factions that don't require war participation and stuff. but you clearly need some education on this game, since you seem to miss the basics. are you here for gambling mostly, perhaps?

it is sorta fun, if you enjoy literally managing people. lot of it is actually much like irl management job, including spreadsheet, hiring, hr sorta stuff, budgeting and decision making. hell, you end up having 1x1 meetings about behavioral issues from time to time
except, it is unpaid :D
lot of the time, noobs go start a faction only to find they are not only clueless about the game, but also not suited for the type of job.
but also, lot of the time, when you become a normal member, you find that there is suddenly not much to do
if you plan to at least pretend to take faction leadership seriously, you should know the game well. that includes reading the patch notes. if you have trouble remembering or figuring stuff out, get someone to help you with leadership that can do that.
also, complaining about stuff not being readily obvious in a game that literally hides most of your XP bars is pretty funny
Today, my factionmates let me know it is beer day (mostly clamoring for the bonus to be activated). Lo and behold, i had three kegs in my inventory, and only 10 glasses, decided to pour myself some beers in preparation...
Zero beers out of the first keg (i do not buy them, this must have been a brand new piece from subscriber rewards or city finds)
Keg number two however, gave me 275 glasses to make up for it
and here is torn report ss just to show that my lowest is indeed zero, did not know that was possible until today :D
