I believe I just ran into issues with Duke's Proof in the Pudding Mission. I believe I did the mission properly; at least according to the Wiki on how to send items to other players. Bought an empty box, added the proper item and sent to the proper player.
Sorry for not adding a screen cap of the item being sent to the player bug I am not seeing a way to get one after the fact. I didn't screen cap it at the time as I wasn't expecting to not get credit for the mission. Looked through the forums and it seems other people have had similar issues and the advice was to report and not reattempt the mission...
