Currently, the bookie api allows you to bet on games that have been canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. and if the match doesn't have a rematch date, it automatically sets the games to a loss.
This could seemingly be an issue with the api allowing games to be bet on that are known in advance to have been postponed.
We should not be allowed to bet on these games if the outcome is already set as postponed before the match starting, or at best revert the bet and give a refund on it. If a person isn't constantly checking match details on Google, you would never know the games were cancelled.
Here are 2 recent matches, within the week, that have been postponed and set as a loss before the game played. These should be reverted and set as refunds and not losses. We can't lose on something that never played out.
We have already talked to staff about this, and their reply was to make a post here saying it's a bug.

I still was, yeah, I did manage to find a fix for it. That was to disconnect it from TornSync. So it won't report data back to your server at all, or read it. But it did fix the latency issues I was concerned about. Is it a permanent fix? No. because if you update it, then I gotta do it again, haha. Although it made a fairly significant difference... Probably because it doesn't make that second call from Torn to your TornSync Server. It just stays local for now. With all that said, though, I love the script. It's made my gameplay a tad more enjoyable and easier to manage at work. So thank you!
You might not personally see the issue because your server is local to you. It will slow down in the delivery chain after the server loads and data is stored or delivered.. The only reason I believe its server sided is because ive removed the connection and it seemed to make it work about 5x - 10x faster. Just an observation.
Anyone seen this get really slow the past day or two ? Will only refresh information for about 7 targets on any list and then becomes almost unresponsive and gives Grey info buttons? maybe it's just me? Used both mobile / PC. Same issue. I know they did the API updates, it seemed to work fine after that for a few days. I went and reset every API key I had because I thought I was rate limited for whatever reason. Same issue 🤔
Noticing a bug. I've had someone mention me in faction chat. After I've cleared the notification for it, it seems to come back even after I close the red box.
Not bad so far! I think it does add some redundant links, but it really isn't awful. Is it possible, to add a button on the mini panel when it's minimized to go through pages ? The UI is fairly large on mobile. If it's can be minimized with an advance button that would be sick 🙂
Wouldn't work, would create gain and suffer opportunities. Having mug protection active for your first few months or first 6 months maybe..... Afterwards you need to be fed to the Sharks to learn literally anything, or have the desire to want to learn. I know this was made 9 months ago. For some reason I'm active now haha 🤣
It'll be pretty hard for me to scour for bets matching this exact outcome. If I can find more examples over the next few days I'll update.
Bets refunding wasn't the issue as I am sure we will get that money back. It was why we were allowed to initially place the bets on this game if we knew it was postponed. If it was just our luck that our timing matched API bugiing out then ill have to take it as such. i just don't think that bet should have been re opened at all
Well, the bookie did allow bets to be placed after the match was postponed. That is the ultimate issue here.

This match was postponed 4 days prior to this bet... there was nothing anywhere about a potential restart / status change other then cancelled. so like I said regardless if it refunds, why did it open back up on the 8th... the bet should not have had options for us to place bets at all after the 5th of March, so it should not have randomly opened for a short time from the 8th to 9th.
I don't care about my measly 15m on it. I care about the other people placing bets on these games..
If it was the API having a malfunction then we can chop it up to an error on the API's end, it's just concerning is all.
