As you all know, the cost of of renaming one's account to a taken name costs more than changing to an unused name, which makes total sense.
The cost also adds up by each level of the inactive's name, and some other factors: https://wiki.torn.com/wiki/Preferences#Name
My suggestion is: the cost should go down by each year (maybe if they've been inactive for 5+ years) so it makes more sense; the possibility of the inactive going back to the game goes down by each year.
The name *removed* is already taken by someone else who is inactive, you can acquire it now for an increased cost of 1750 points if you wish. You will not be able to change your name again for 3 months.
1750 points for a player who's been inactive for 11 years. What are the chances this player will log back in after a decade?
I've had the Parallel honor for the longest time, I bought it after my first or second competition participation ever, I even made a profile pic to match it with the honor. Log:
12:15:41 - 25/04/20 You exchanged 8 tokens for the Parallel honor at the token shop
Today I woke up to find I have the default (white) honor equipped. I thought it was a bug so I tried refreshing and rechanging the honor but it's locked now "Purchased from the Token Shop (Limited)".
I go to the token shop and there it is, locked..
I contacted staff and they told me it's probably a bug and to post a thread here. I will try to look for old screenshots of my profile to post it confirm that I had it.
