When we are young and we first get into the game of torn, we automatically try and get tips or help from more experienced players (I did myself and still do) they will help you will anything you need. But there are things you should not ever do that will either make your life easier or less annoying.
Chats:
DO NOT post a trade, recruitment, or even ask for a spouse in New Player Chat (npc), that belongs in trade chat and many people will call you out for it.
DO NOT beg. You will be asked to stop and sometimes might be given ideas on how to get what you need without begging.
DO NOT spam chat, use excessive caps, fill chat, or create drama.
DO NOT EVER complain about being attacked or being hospitalized in chats, NPC especially. One, torn is a game about attacking other people. Two, you will only be targeted for people trying to level up. Three, you only seem like a little kid conplaining that there are no more cheerios left.
Attacking:
If you want to be successful at attacking, pick your fights wisely. Just because they are at your level doesnt mean they arent as geared as a level 42. Many people, especially in factions, tend to get loaned gear to help them survive.
If you dont want to be attacked and constantly hospitalized, like yours truly was, dont constantly be talking in chats unless your ready for the attacks.
I'm not making this post to seem mean to anyone, im doing this to keep younger players from quitting the game before they get into the good stuff.
