It was a dark cold night. i had just got back to my house from my job at the casino. i was relaxing selling some things when i suddenly felt very nervous. thats when i realized i didn't hear anything coming from the houses around me, all i could hear was a slow set of footsteps coming up the stairs, with a quiet "creak". i jumped up from my computer and looked out my window. the lights in all of my neighbors houses were out when they had just been on not long ago. i looked at the clock on my computer and it read 7:00, to early for the 23 year old neighbors to the left of my house to sleep and their car was still in the driveway. suddenly my rooms doorknob started shaking. i slowly grabbed my baseball bat i keep in my room. my door bursts open and there is a huge man with a large knife in my doorway. i swing as hard as i can at his head and jump out my window, falling 2 stories onto my yard. i quickly run to my car and drive away calling the cops. soon with a cop car following me we get back to my house and find it empty with the door locked. we check my neighbors houses and every house for 3 houses down on either side of my house had every resident killed. the worst part is we never found the murderer. later i checked the computer and saw a note posted on my desktop. "ill be back see you soon". suddenly my closet opens slowly...
