I do contracts where you get the last revive for Free. With Contracts the price is 1m/Xanax per a revive, but you get the maximum revs I can do for the time being + the last one for free and if you need more revives I can ask a friend to give you a hand or you might even contact our Faction Torn Medical if things get rough.
I prefer to do the job first and then get paid for my services later.

I am a player that used to be a Trader about 4 Years ago, but then I gave up and became a Reviver instead.
If you are unaware of what a Trader is - it is basically a person who can buy all your stuff in a trade. The idea is that if you try and sell them yourself since your account is new you will get mugged and Traders are helping new accounts that have low battle stats and don't want to deal with selling their items on their own.

as I was looking for any interesting information that may be hidden in Torn I stumbled upon this profile Amanda which leads to the next mission giver. So far we don't know a lot about her other than the fact that she will be giving out missions to most of us in the future and since I couldn't find in the forums if her profile existed before - it does seem as she was recently added.
This got me thinking of going through some of the NPC accounts and I also noticed this one "Photographer" , but I can't figure out if this is just a placeholder for a future one or we will have an NPC named Photographer. He is pretty generic as "rookie Intimidator", has won a 70k fights, but had only a timplayed value of about 13 minutes and according to this thread if you try to attack him you get an error that you are unable to attack him unless you are in a mission and the same goes for Amanda.
Does anyone know more about these two NPCs, if yes - please share your info below?
I was wondering if any of you know if Ched and the Chedsters (I apologize if I offend anyone, but I found it funny when I thought of it) have any plans/are working on crimes that actually put people in jail like we used to have in crimes 1.0?
I am asking because I was planning on doing the 10k busting merits, but jail has only PA players there and it kinda sucks for doing busting merits. It does seem as the busting merits are a far fetch for me and other like minded players.
As long as you are under 150 xanax/ecstazy usage (total) you will be able to use it. Search in the forums about SSL gym to see if it’s worth not using xanax. Normally canax plays a huge part of Torn’s gameplay since you use the energy for attacks, revives and trainings in the gym.
100 revive skill merit - MD House or something or "He's got a pulse" or maybe something else. But since reviving has become so difficult these days and so time gated it does require a Merit for the 100 revive skill achievement.
You can easily take 2 xanax daily which is 500 E. And yes in my opinion 500E daily is better than having access to SSL, you can do the math, 365 days (I am not counting ODs, but people might be taking 3 xanax so it kinda balances out) is a ton of energy that in my opinion is better to spend at George’s gym than natural E at SSL (natural E would be about 600 daily)
I would advise you against being a director early in your torn career. Reason for this is that in order to be effective you need certain stock blocks and education courses completed.
About the job positions get 1 manager, and try getting one of them each or better look at what other directors are doing with their company and copy their style.
your happiness resets to it’s natural maximum every 15 minutes of the hour. (:15/30/45/00). This means that you need to eat as much candy as you want in the early minutes of those 15 and then quickly to go and train in the gym.
It’s not easy, the higher the level - the higher the requirements. I don’t remember seeing such a guide, but there could be one.
The thing is that you can’t have an exact number of days till the next level since every action in game gives you experience (some actions more than others)
if you want to focus on leveling I’d say use your E to attack and leave people on the street for the next 6 months and you should gain few levels
Yea, at some point Duke will add you to the mission targets and people will start mugging/hosping you. So I’d advise to pay up as Duke isn’t forgetting easily.
