Merry Christmas to all!
I'm going to thank LovelyBabyDiva for supporting me and kindly helping me when I transferred to 39th and was able to jump-starting my exponential growth and even though I have questionable stats and networth, she was kind enough to let me stay on her P.I.
I would also like to thank Divalicious for accepting me, a nobody, on their faction and family and was able to finally find a place where I can belong and help my growth in torn making my current stats 10 times my stats before I joined the faction.

Lets get to the crux of this situation so Baldr and Jojero can have a good night's sleep XD.
The dude got a Status Enhancer on his Dump dive.... this fueled his dependence on "luck" and made his perspective rise towards the "go to the dump" rather than "go to the gym" and had him guide newbies to two branches; the lucky and unlucky. This also enabled him to "slowdown" his desire to rush levels and gain money actively seeing as he can already depend on stocks for passive income.
The key to gaining money, in my perspective as also a new player, is to to become proactive, communicate with people, traders, find the faction that will benefit you, find people that can help you grow, find ways to earn money actively. The struggle of actively finding ways to earn money, only to reach lvl 15 that gives players the ability to fly overseas to buy plushies/flowers cheaper and sell them in Torn for profit. The struggle of finding capital to enable them to keep flying/running items abroad....
This was why Baldr's guides are seemingly info-dumps but they are necessary info to help the newbies decide on where they should go and how they wanna play as as well as warn newbies what numbers of players encountered and did wrong.
"I am still in the New Player Chat so I can assure you I am well aware of what's happening and I chat with fellow new players from time to time to find out their experiences so I can fine - tune the guide accordingly ."
This is a good way to get info as there are old players within New Player Chat who chose to play as level holders like the almighty Jesus, and "that guy who shall not be named" who when you piss off reveals your battlestats....
OP had a stroke of luck and that became a huge part of his guide, it's the new players choice if they so do decide to follow by his lead.

This does looks like a great guide for new players though some info I'd like to disagree on.
The dump especially, you will only need to search the dump once for a mission and preferably never again. As a newbie player your goal is to get a grasp of the game, but you will also want to have the edge above your peers, your fellow newbies; so the most efficient way for you to use your (E) Energy is for GYM training. Frequently training in the gym helps you (the player) unlock the next gym which in turn raise the modifiers that affects the stats that you gain while training.
Why do I discourage the dump? True, if you are lucky you might find an item or two worth keeping...but remember that the items in the dump are items trashed by other (older and younger) players that doesn't need the item anymore and also for the merit "Eco Friendly" which requires one to trash 5,000 items...items that are mostly trashed for these are cheap items like Bricks, Boxes, fruitcakes, lollipops sheep/bear/cat plushies etc. so basically you will sort out through 5,000 of these trash items (dumped by numerous players) before you can hope to find a 1M worth item. This will only slow down a newbies growth.
I'd like to clarify the battle stats too.
Gym: ( BASIC UNDERSTANDING )
Strength : how hard you hit someone (calculated against your opponents DEF)
Speed : how accurate your hits are (speed doesn't affect "how fast you can move" only accuracy, this might confuse new player into thinking this is about dodging.)
Defense : how much damage can you withstand (calculated against your opponents STR)
Dex : how much you can dodge the opponent (this actually affects another aspect which is "stealth" which when attacking determines if the attacked person will know who their attacker is)
