I have a cat and I love her a lot. i think for a game that emulates real life, pets should be an integral part of it. Maybe they can increase happiness at extra cost? Maybe they can be killed by your enemies lol. Maybe they can be named as well. Would be nice if there were pets. Maybe they can serve as support animals on your long plane flight ;)

Able to provide another way of spending so that money can be removed from the system and help prevent inflation

May detract from Torn's theme of crime and violence
If involved in combat, may be reminiscent of dogs update (that was in the game previously. I wasn't around to see that)

My take would be that there are many good ideas for Torn. The question is not whether they are good or not, but rather how they will be implemented. I believe this is the case for pets as well. Perhaps holding an in-game vote (and asking 1.yes,2.no or 3.something else: write your suggestion) would be a good idea. Maybe even using pets in combat could be good, it depends on the implementation.

Hey, Leslie from Spin the Wheel has really bad English. I know its because he's "Asian", but if the devs gave him bad English because of that, isn't it stereotypical and borderline racist?
I feel that Leslie's character should be made out better, and his English corrected
Ye, but duke's not the only white character in this game. There are other characters that balance it off. Whereas Leslie is the only Asian in this game. And the only Asian talks bad English, missing connectors. And he pretty much looks like a dick.
So, for example, a piece of armour gives 30 def, and another gives 30.1 def, nornally they are sorted according to price, but perhaps the devs could allow sorting according to stats, as an extra option which could be good for those who are willing to pay more for better stats. This will save them the hassle of clicking the eye icon for every item (sometimes the eye icon doesn't work too)

Well the mission characters I've met so far are not dimwitted. George seems pretty streetwise. And anonymous seems all-knowing and in control of the situation.
Another point to make is that Leslie feels out of place in Torn City. He's not a triad leader or a crafty medicine shop owner. Its not even clear if he works for the casino. Its like the devs didin't really add him in to Torn City to improve it or enhance it. Its like they added him for some other reason, or maybe for no reason at all.
This is in contrast to Duke, who really adds value to Torn City

i was thinking of a setting that allows you to arrange the market weapons based not just on price but also on stats. I think if users had an option to do that it would be better
