Some of you might think I'm using a click-bait title and some would know the exact honor bar I'm talking about but still don't get it can change a man's life in Torn to the better, anyway, here is how it all happened:
I joined TORN 1 years 8 months 10 days ago (620 days). I was a fan of CYOS Games (choose your own story) and was looking for something similar till I stumbled with TORN. I wasn't that serious playing it and would just login, spend energy, spend nerve, and repeat, nothing else. I left game for a long period of time till I found there is an android app for it then got back into the game again but this time, with the intention to take this game seriously, and from here the story starts.
At the time, I didn't know anything about traveling, stock-trading, happy-jumps, chaining, level-holding, or what does a million in TORN feels like to be had in your own hands, I was just a simple player who just worked the default jobs, worked on his Education, and raised his stats one by one.
I was a nudist with no gear on, weapons of mine did no damage against others, and I was mugged a lot, so I decided to work on this first by trying to find a job beside Education and basic jobs in Torn and while looking for a job, I got an invitation from someone to join a company called "Proper D Masters" a Property Broker company, which played an important role in my life in Torn.
Like anyone else, I was trying to find ways to improve my character in-game (beside gearing) and I heard that I should work on my merits to get a 20% reduced time on education as an example, and since I wanted to speed things a little, I tried to look for honor bars or achievements that I can earn in Torn till I stumbled with this honor bar in particular, "Fascination".
It's a honor bar with the image of a "Naked Lady", lying on a bed, defenselessly, and giving you a sexy inviting look to join her which caught me off-guard to see on a PG+13 game and because of how unique it is, I liked the idea of having it and show it off to others who had no idea that something like this is obtainable in Torn.
So I read the details on how to get it, I had to stay married to a single woman in Torn for 250 days straight but the problem is, multi-accounting will get you banned in Torn and I used to make a second account in games with marriage system and marry my characters to each others, at least to make sure that only I, can divorce myself, and I can get my in-game wife online, anytime I want, but this time, I can't do so.
I was talking to other employees in "Proper D Masters" about that achievement and marriage, and surprisingly, it appears that the owner of the company was single in-game as well and since we both were single, she helped me as a newbie, and agreed to marry me in-game and from this point of my Torn life, everything started to change.
Unlike most people who see in-game marriages as something that exist for the sake of it, she looked at in-game marriage as if it was real marriage, she intended to help me improve in the game, become stronger, become richer, become capable, that one day, we can be a power couple in Torn like some real couples in Torn.
She gave me generous salaries, money to buy better gear, and kept teaching me about everything in Torn on how to improve myself and have a better game experience than the dull ones I had before.
You might think, anyone can do this so what makes my wife better than anyone you've, and to answer your question, it's trust. Something that I didn't expect of anyone in a game, I provided nothing, still, she trusted me with her money and her own company with all funds in it.
She had big dreams to own the best AN company and use as a way to buy her own PI someday, seeing her passion, I wanted to help her in making that dream comes true so imagine my happiness when I was told about City and items that can be found on the map, when I found a pair of dumbbells that were worth 345m at the time when my whole net-worth was 35m or even lower than this number.
I knew I couldn't buy her a PI with that some but at least I could buy a Palace with that money, not exactly her goal but close to it, so instead of living in a beach house, we moved together and lived in our own palace, with our own vault, and since she trusted me before with her company funds, I trusted her as well, and made our vault shared, and gave her access to all the money stored in it.
During the time I owned the palace, she never took a single dime (although she can) and that itself and other things, made me trust her more so when I learnt that we can rent PI for less than 100m, I sold the Palace and rent a maxed PI for 88m to have the pilot upgrade and help her get better income from her trades around the world.
I didn't do trading myself so I was just happy that in a way, I helped her in the game to be able to achieve her dreams, the company was sold later and she didn't ask for that money even so I turned all these assets to flowers/b-bags to avoid being mugged and left it in her care to support buying the future PI of her dreams.
Days passed and she convinced me to stop being stubborn and start traveling instead of wasting my time on racing, which helped my net-worth increase by an insane margin, till one day (while renting a PI) she told me "We've enough money now to buy a Private Island".
I didn't believe it when I heard it but during all this time, my wife worked hard to make her dream comes true, she dreamed to have a PI, and I dreamed that I be of help in her getting a PI, so you could say both of our dreams were achieved at that moment.
Instead of fully maxing PI to increase her total happiness, the first thing that she bought in her PI was an Extra Large Vault for me to store money without the fear of getting mugged, it won't help her since she already store her money in company and in stocks but for me, she bought a whole vault to improve my gaming experience in Torn, as a gift.
Many of these generous things from her happened during the period of 250 days and just today, we received the being married for 250 days honor bar which is "Fascination", the honor bar that made me want to marry in the first place, in this game, and without this honor bar, I wouldn't have bothered to marry during that specific time, and I wouldn't have known my amazing in-game wife.
To some, it's just a honor bar of a fully naked lady, but for me, it was the reason I become the husband of my great, amazing, caring, patient, trusting, in-game wife, "LadyDezzie".
