Same issues here. CPU usage usually is in 20-30% range with a single Torn tab opened. Even with this usage, I'm getting random hitches, even when I started typing this message, but usually while left click holding someone's name to see their mini-profile.

Like someone mentioned, the usage goes back to 3% when sitting for some time in this thread or the bug section of the forum.

Some pages are worse, like Search Cash from Crimes 2.0, where it goes to 50 and spikes to 60+ while doing crimes.

But when I had opened bunch of Torn pages like Bazaars that I was to buy some items later, some random pages like Gym, Jail, Missions, and 2 Faction pages (chain wall and RW one), the usage was like 80% and spiking to 95%+.

I used to have even more torn pages opened before this started to happen without any issues.

The sad thing is that the person assigned to this couldn't replicate it, so I guess they're not looking into it? I don't know how much more info is required, there is even a video attached...

Nice scored in the 1st min of the stoppage time (90+1'), and my bet was refunded. Most sources say the stoppage time counts.

As the title says, I killed first target, and the mission page says I still need to kill them:

I had stutters after the cpu fix too.

Funny thing, just after new torn day, so a few mins before, the chat was there, but wouldn't load the list of all DMs, and couldn't resize the chat. With these two features less, it was almost perfect, some minor stutters after reloading page for a short amount of time.

Now, when the chat disappeared, it's all smooth.

Oh, and CPU usage is still more or less the same. The only difference is that the chat causes stutters even though not a single physical core of my CPU is maxed out.

So how can we know whether we actually won or not? Besides checking items. I moved them around, so can't really compare.

Iirc, the movement speed was much higher a few years ago. Like twice as fast.

But what exactly is fixed? Snowball shooters performance or some changes to the pot game?

Try to check it again and restart the browser. Unchecking made Torn worse for me too, but after checking it again, it got smoother than ever. Unfortunately, it didn't last long... Freezes been a thing even with it checked.

Performance is worse, true.

Pages load long sometimes; sometimes Torn freezes, like when doing crimes (there are three dots loading animation and can't do anything for a few seconds, reloading torn doesn't work until it unfreezes), or using weapons during attacks; Leslie wheel animation stutters.

Uncheking indexedDB made it worse for me, especially after restarting browser. But checking it again yesterday made the usage lower, and the wheel animation was smooth.

However, today it got much worse, the wheel animation is awful. I got 3 freezes while attacking Fernando, the CPU usage wasn't even that high.

Edit: Scrolling missions description is stuttery, and sometimes switching mission makes it load slow to the point I see a white background for like a half a second.

Edit 2: It gets better after I click all missions. Then reloading the page makes it stuttery again, but only for a few seconds.

There is another bug report about CPU usage. But looks like it's something more than just this and RAM. At least here, a lot of things tend to stutter randomly - Leslie wells, loading miniprofiles, even flying animation.

I don't understand why Torn consumes 50% of 8 physical CPU cores.

I'd like to mention that we'd been doing pretty good as 10* company until one of our beefy employees had to leave because of health issues, and another one went inactive. That's why we're looking for a replacement atm.

So if you have decent working stats, +10 EE merits, it's just probably matter of time to get 10* back pretty quick.
