Thank you <3
So at the time of writing this I’m lvl 22 with some honestly mediocre work stats, however I was wanting to know if it’s more profitable to start a company or stay an employee until my stats are better.
1M or 2 Xanax
Selling revives for one Xanax or 750k. Please message me before you send money or items so there’s not and unintentional “scamming”

Honestly as corny as it sounds I be learning new stuff everyday about torn. I’ve been trying to get rich for over 2 years and still have yet to be a player worth mentioning. I guess the “hopeless grind” is good for me
Lemme get a milli ?
Nothing from NPC but I did get some combat boots that sold for a nice 2mil

Big respect for lvl 25 at age 64

My first year was in torn was the biggest roller coaster of learning a game I’ve ever experienced tbh. The way my friends explained it at the time, it was just a text based MMO. well, I didn’t pay attention to what exactly text based meant lol so I was immediately disappointed. But, I had just gotten prescribed adderall, didn’t have Xbox live, and decided, screw it, I’ve got time and focus enough to do some digging. So I completed the “tutorial” missions and hit the forums for about 2.5 hours and learned pretty much nothing (adderall is such a neat ‘medicine’ lol) so I eventually learned the absolute basics. Sell bricks, don’t gamble without money to do so, leave people for XP not mug for money. I even bought a year subscription donator status.
Then level 15 happened. And boy was I a broke yet hopeful little idiot. I thought traveling would have been like astronomically profitable. Like beyond anything that you could justify it with. So I set out to get better properties and weapons and hopefully a business. I reach lvl 21 after a few weeks and still was unable to comprehend the market and kinda just…. Gave up.
Then about 2-3 months of very minimal play, just selling bricks and gym training, I decided to maybe play a litttle bit more seriously. So I joined my first faction. Didn’t go very well. I didn’t understand chains, the armory system, and just like in real life, I communicated with next to nobody in any chats. So again, I kinda just stopped playing for close to 8 months before I picked it back up and went back to my ‘minimalist’ style of just doing Ned to nothing.
About 2 months ago however, I had gotten back into the game since I have a lot more time to be active. First week back was spent doing nothing besides gym, crime, and countless hours on ‘beginner’ forums as a level 22. I’m slowly but surely making more progress in my play style and I have a spouse, job under a company, and enough to scrape up rentals while me and my spouse save up for an actual pi.
To sum up, I was scared, confused, and frustrated until I understood that patience and precise decisions were key to this game.

Oh I wasn’t like offended by any means your points are all valid. I just underestimated the time investment when I started my account tbh. I’m just tryna catch up, any and all feedback is appreciated (:
Fair enough, I’ve been on daily, and for as long as possible given irl things going on for the last month or so and I’ve already made some pretty decent strides
Thank you <3

No hate
The urge to play and the time you make for it comes and goes tbh. I’ve been off and on for years but I wish you luck in your endeavors!
Wtw
Yet it all seemed too surreal, as if complete denial.
