I was just curious if anyone had a bit of advice on how to quickly cover a rather large debt.

I don't remember taking out a loan but I must've done something before I went on a rather long hiatus.
I came back to the game recently and see that I'm now 7 mil in debt plus around 6mil in fines by Duke.

I have a very small amount of money but I've been putting everything I've got into paying it off. However it seems every day or every other day he places a new hit (and additional 140k) to my fines.
It says it's suppose to happen once a week, but my fines have definitely increase multiple times this week alone.
I'm trying different ways to get money, from selling a bunch of things, trying to find bounties, missions and all that fun stuff, but I'm still not making a dent and if I get enough it goes straight into the fine of the day.

It's a bit frustrating at this point (it mirrors real life way too much) and I'm looking for suggestions on how to increase one's income dramatically enough to pay it down as quickly as possible.

If you could give any starting advice to your past self, what would it be and why?

The debt is taken care of and I am working on everyone's suggestions to become a bit more stable and create a stronger foundation in this game.
