Okay this is sort of involved, but I'm bored and obviously y'all are too, otherwise you wouldn't be here, amirite?

This is purely for fun, but who knows! I might throw a few bucks towards ones that I like or that make me laugh. Feel free to do the same if you wanna spread the love around

Follow all site/forum rules of course

Pick a word or a few words from the quote to make your album title

• To get cover art, go to your fave search engine and use word(s) from album title to do an image search to make your art background

• Use a photo editing program/app to add the band name and album title to the image, and crop or resize as needed

You can leave it at that or get fancy with it. Or tell me what genre of music it is or post some lyrics from their hit song. Be as simple or creative as you want! You don't have to be good at editing or design or anything, it's just supposed to be a time waster :)

I'll do one to start and take you through the steps (you don't have to post the whole paragraph or quote or sources on yours, I'm just doing that as an example)

My wiki article was Kingenclough Castle but I thought that was a bit off as a band name so from the first paragraph ("The remains of the old castle of Kingencleugh or Kingenclough lies close to east of the town of Mauchline, East Ayrshire, in the old Barony of Mauchline off the A76. The castle is Category B listed") I'm going to pick 'East of the Town'

My quote was from Dickens' A Christmas Carol ("'The school is not quite deserted,' said the Ghost. 'A solitary child, neglected by his friends, is left there still.'") so I'm going to use 'Not Quite Deserted' as my album title

From there I'll do an image search using 'deserted' as my term and pick a suitable or perhaps completely off topic picture from the results

Then I'll use an editing program to put it all together. I'm on my phone so I use its editor and the Ibis and Pixlr apps to add text and filters/decoration. Pixlr also has a browser version, if you don't have any other software. Gimp and Krita are some free software you can use on the computer

Looks like they play some sort of alternative country and bluegrass maybe...

2019 has been kind of awful, but my favourite memories are all of my kiddo being kind or funny or creative, just an all around good kid. Her birthday was last week and she told me that the presents are fun but nothing means more to her than being around her family :)
