I don't want to go to my wife right now. I don't want to be around her or my kid even though she goes home in another hour or so. I'm having a really bad day, I used to write poems when they got this bad. Haven't done this since high school and unfortunately it doesn't help near as much now as it did. I know I'll never get over it, and I try to push through it. But today... Is just... I don't know. It's not good. Not looking for help or sympathy, in fact I just wanna post this and hope it somehow helps. Without further ado, the poem that didn't help, but tried:
Some days are a lot harder than others Today has been the hardest in a while Every knife or razor I see I remember how it feels The parting of the skin The cut filling with blood Slowly running Dripping Pooling I want it More and more with each breath Tears in my eyes but not willing to fall Forcing myself to be strong Not relying on help I know I'm probably wrong But I do what I can It's never gonna end But I'll never be out I'll just get knocked down Only to get back up And go another round
