After reconsideration I have agreed this idea doesn't have merit.

I understand what you're saying, and if people don't want to attend those events they don't have to. However, I have seen that some of those events are at places where children are, I believe there were some at schools but I may not be correct on that. As far as consenting adults idc, whatever makes people happy, I'm not personally interested so I don't watch those shows, events, or participate. That's okay though, I'm sure I'm interested in plenty of things others aren't. I just think that adults can make the decisions to choose to be parts of groups and children don't fully comprehend that.

Now to be truthful I don't know how those work at schools (or youthgroups), if parents are informed and choose to send their kids or not. I remember when pg13 movies were going to be played in class, and I had to get my parents signature. If that's the case and that's what they want their children to learn and support, it isn't my place to say so.

I'm not super involved in these communities but as long as those things aren't forced on anyone, as I think no ideology or political perspectives, religions... Etc should ever be forced on someone.


I think many people may have this stance, live and let live, but don't try and force your views on others. That's what contributes to freedom to begin with.

Feel free to respond but please don't instigate as I'm being genuine, not here to stir shit up, just here to clear up that people can do their own thing without bothering or harming others and there's no need to be involved in everyone's business just to hate on them... That's just f**king stupid.
