I personally don’t want to believe that there is a god because if there is then that means that everything on earth is going according to his plans (meaning that everything good or bad is his fault) or that he just does not care at all about what happens to us and in both scenarios he wounds up to be an asshole.
On the other hand I consider that life being meaningless is a good thing because I don’t like the idea of people who are born to do something instead of them doing that because they choose to do it.
And I think that good or bad is on the eye of the beholder because an action that you may think is bad other people may think is actually good and because of that laws are supposed to be to the benefit of the majority.
