Recently I got pulled out of my attempt at a summer Torn Break because someone strongly objected to the presence and use of the (freaking adorable) rainbow dildo emoji reaction in our faction Discord. Because we refused to ditch the dong, he left with a few messages to leadership about filth and perversions and a confusing point about how a faction called Pagans should be less permissive about rainbow willies. His final say was to saddle me with a number of hilariously under-priced bounties.
After a brief glance at his forum history, we realized he has a pretty strong anti-Pride stance, and maybe his aversion wasn’t for the todger itself but for the rainbow. And as much as I would like to handle this cockamamie tantrum by ignoring it, I’m the kind of girl that if life gives me lemons, i’m going to squeeze those babies a bit and see what comes out.
In this case, I’ve decided to make lemonade by making a donation to PFLAG (parents and friends of gays and lesbians, an important organization doing great work) of $10 USD for every $100k of bounties he places that gets claimed this week. I’ll likely have to set a cap, as he seems happy to throw his good money away on his penile protests, but up to $500 USD, I will happily make the donation in his name.
Please know that for the foreseeable future you can contribute to a really great cause, www.pflag.org that helps LGBTQ+ as well as families and friends and communities, simply by claiming the bounties that already exist on my head. I have zero issue with the bounties and zero issue with bounties in general as an in game mechanic….i just want to turn this particular peckerdillo into something cool for a great cause.

Even with the most severe psychiatric illnesses, such as psychotic disorders, there are treatments that actually do offer significant quality of life improvements, they are not considered terminal (dementia is not a psychiatric illness but a neurological one), and most often the desire to end life due to depression or psychiatric distress ebbs and wanes with crises, and they would not meet the criteria of sound mind during a psychiatric crisis.
