For me, running a business has been tough, but it seemed like a better option compared to the agony of job searching.
Of course, now that I'm up to my ears in debt and having to cross my fingers every time a bill is due, I can't help but wonder if this too was a terrible choice.

Today I've decided to dump a bunch of money into advertising to see if I can drum up some business.
What I ought to be doing is visiting businesses in person and offering my services, but I'm just too paralyzed.
As much as I try to talk myself into it, and assure myself that I'd be helping them, I just can't seem to do it.

I'm at the point now where I'm having to forgo necessary equipment repairs, so it's maybe another month or two before I have to start making calls to the creditors and sell everything off.

I use to really enjoy working new jobs, trying to figure out what I'd like to do for a living.
I've now grown tired of having nothing and not being a part of something.
Turns out that work has a large impact on a person's identity and mental health, in my opinion of course.


Having depression doesn't really help much either, and I believe has really rotted away a lot of the positive feelings I once felt.


I'll stop myself from going into a stream-of- consciousness ramble.

Fingers crossed for the evil, ugly advertising.

On an unrelated note, I've wanted to die for 20 years, and have finally grown tired of simply trying.
Last year I decided it would be the inert gas method for me.
So last week I bought the supplies (for the second time this year.)
I decided tonight was the night.
I had a gas mask modified to connect to two helium tanks.
I got some fast food and drove out to a secluded field.
I set up a mattress and pillow in the bed of my truck and watched the stars for a bit before opening both valves.
I was nervous at first and my heart was racing.
I didn't feel any drowsiness, so kept cranking the valves.
At one point I had a dream where the stars were all streaming. and said to myself " it's happening!"
I must have pulled the mask off my face then.
I put it back on, opened the valves and breathed deeply.
Maybe it was a short time later, but I could hear the gas winding down.
Yup, ran out of gas, and on further inspection, one of the hoses that was just friction fit into the valve had come off at some point. Makes me wonder if it was off the whole time.
My heart was pumping like mad though as I laid back down.
Tried calling my ex to see if she wanted to f**k. No answer, off course.
Then I returned here, to torn.
Life really can be lame.
I'm not so afraid to try again, and have learned my lessons!

Just a note, I personally don't need to hear how you believe life is worth living.

I searched a little for this bug, but didn't see anything.

On mobile, using Chrome browser with Samsung S21.

I've since updated Chrome, but issue persists.

Issue: when trying to change cars before race begins, there appears to be no way to confirm the change, and the text is all jumbled (pic1.)
But if you tap around the area highlighted in pic2, you will get the confirmation and changing of cars will be successful.

Using chrome on desktop, but happens on Microsoft edge too.

Testing out minigames for Christmas town. Pot game asks me if I want to play:

Instead of the game loading, it shows only a blank screen:

Using google chrome. Sound was on (I'd played several games already.) I had another tab open and was chatting over there. Game ID 2391625.
Suddenly I hear the footsteps noise immediately followed by the gunshot noise. My turn had timed out and the opposing player had shot me.
However, I wasn't notified that a player had joined the match by the footsteps audio, as per usual.


Game ID 2391645. My opponent took their first shot, but neither the click noise, nor the pistol and chamber visuals were shown. It then said it was my turn. The click noise and visuals had returned.

I don't need a response to these, just wanted to let y'all know.

Here's my 2020 Christmas Town submission.

The overall vibe is a desolate, wooded island in Canada's bitter cold winter.
You've foolishly gone out for a boat ride and have found yourself on an unfamiliar part of the island and must find your way home before you lose your fingers and toes to frostbite.

No large lonely stretches to wonder if you're heading into oblivion.
All the loot games, chests, and maybe even old Saint Nick himself if you manage to make it out alive.

This is my first map, and it's probably a little smaller than most.
I seriously underestimated the amount of work and the patience required to finish this project.
To all my map editors out there, I am suggesting a new title for us; "Christmas Town Map Editor Survivor."

I use arson waterhouse to check foreign stocks on mobile. I'm sure I could find another way, but I've appreciated this tool. Thank you!
