Like I said in another post, not condoning what you say Smoke did, but it is not fine to scam someone yet it is completely and absolutely fine to put bounties and send messages trying to coerce someone who wasn't even online when zhit went down... Right... right... this kind of thing is why I stopped playing torn and might drive me to stop playing again which will obviously make me stop supporting the developers cause who tf is going to pay a subscription for this kind of bs.

Like many have said, I think his reaction was too much, but you also were also feeding the fire with gasoline my man. In cases like this (and take it from someone who was blackmailed in real life) you ignore, document and report to the proper authorities. Telling someone to off themselves is just not OK, we don't know what anyone is going through suicidal over here. Mental states are delicate and invisible, I would have just reported him for that and I bet it would be taken seriously.
Thank you for trying to make newcomers aware, but you also need to be aware that most new players don't really use the forums other than to look for guides and stuff. Looking for a faction or a player's reputation is usually not a thing. I've been playing for years and I recently started to do that.

We had a bad week, I am dealing with personal issues so I couldn't be present most of the war, Smoke did as much as he could, but you have to admit that just because your cousin couldn't handle the situation he calling everyone idiots or wtvr was uncalled for, that is not the way of treating new players, seeing such behaviour can only make people not want to play the game. I understand that you guys didn't get paid on time, as I am aware Smoke sent you some money, not sure if the right amount. Couldn't we have solved this in a less dramatic way? Couldn't you have reached me if Smoke didn't act as he should have?
Also, and with this I'm not condoning what you say Smoke did to you guys, but please do stop harassing the rest of the members and solve your problems with Smoke instead. New players do not deserve that kind of treatment and you know it very well, it is one of the reasons why you are complaining, right? It is one of the reasons why I joined this game years ago and stopped playing for years too, cause you can't take the matters into your own hands as you can't go against him due to his level, and doing so would imply investing money in hiring higher level players which would just be a loss for you.
(On a side note, I don't understand why people are so upset about this kind of practice in this game, if the whole game is about doing the bad things to such point where you cannot even report someone for scamming you, mugging right after purchasing and such. As someone who is constantly selling and is mugged by higher levels, I understand its upsetting but that is part of the game.)
