Ched 101 - Happiness resets to your max if you are over at xx:00, xx:15, xx:30, or xx:45. Vet players put up with this shit because we're used to it. Outside of the few intro missions (attacking and sending items), Ched doesn't do jackshit about explaining how the game works.

by reputation, I meant it like no one will trust you. Like being labeled “Scammer” so when you try to make trades in EVE Online, no one will trust you because you had a history of scamming people in other games. You can’t create another account to hide your past actions. 

And that's bad because? If you were playing an online FPS and got caught with Aim Bot, you will be blacklisted from every online FPS game from that publisher (because your ID is linked to your game profile). You can still play other games genres. Publishers like Tencent do not want cheaters on their platform. Cheating in a video game isn't illegal, it's just the publisher decision. Cheating in game have no real world consequences. They can still go outside and function normally.

You don't need a Chinese ID to play Torn (or Steam, Epic, Roblox accounts with VPN).

Unfortunately, that reputation stuck. MMCP (renamed to Monarch Cupid) had the same reputation for multis but it went radio silent since the Myanmar Military Coup in 2021. Permafeds and civil unrest reduced MMCP firepower. Once a HOF slayer, now middle of the pack. You guys have kept the momentum going by recruiting more and more players. Insane levels of activity matched with high wealth.

I don't think the scrutiny towards SMTH players will ever end. Speaking from my experience as an Asian American. People fear the unknown. Not only is there a language barrier, their is also a cultural gap. A German and a Brazilian share the same internet (Facebook, YouTube, etc) meanwhile the Chinese have their own internet (Weibo [微博] and Bilibili [哔哩哔哩]). SMTH players don't use Torn forums as much and use their own forums. A Korean player would better integrate into Torn because they do not have a Korean-only speaking faction. They are forced to speak in English to communicate with their faction mates. In real life, there's a stark difference in ethnic enclave Asians (Chinatown, Koreatown) vs Chinese/Korean Americans that have assimilated in the suburbs. I see a few SMTH players in 39th Street Killers (which is great, Chinese players are integrating into Torn).

PS, I don't think westerners understand China. I'm an outsider, so I don't fully understand how China and SMTH's operation works. Feel free to correct me, I can make edits. American propaganda makes it seem like the Chinese government have face scans of all ONE BILLION Chinese citizens. Social credit is mostly aimed towards corporation (tax fraud, environmental waste, etc). And for the number's debate going on, I'm pretty sure your number is attached to every social app. So that's why their operation is so high trust. If you get caught stealing a company, your reputation is shattered in every other online game you play. It's not like discord/steam where I can just make another burner.

$500M drop seems alot but it's only a 3.71% decline. And once you spread that out to their +200 mines, ON AVG, each mine corp is only losing $2.4M in profits. (I've never manage a company so IDK what the profit margins are for mining directors, but surely they are making more than their employees).

This is what happens when moderators work for free. They get paid from power. I don't expect Ched to pay moderators any time soon. He's already outsourcing to Ukrainian developers (1/3 salary instead of hiring his fellow countrymen). 

My proposal is to replace everyone with AI (actually Indians). Half the cost eastern european devs and redirect those cost savings to hire Indian/Pakistani content moderation team. They don't have any skin in the game. They do not benefit from banning their enemies. An outside party unlike powermods that hold grudges.
