If successful, you turn back the plane, and get a free business class ticket as an airline apology.
If not successful, you could get decked by another passenger and get hospital time.
If not successful, you could get arrested and serve a week in jail for suspected terrorist activities ... or something.
Anyone else like this idea? Or think of some fun tweaks for it?
You can have a group of 5 players from across the Torn universe (not just your faction), or register a group of 5 faction members.
You enter as an individual and are matched with a team of other players. Then you battle in a live hits fight window with all players able to react in real time.
You could register and fight at any time like the way the races are run. There's a countdown timer of 15 minutes or less before the battle starts. That way everyone knows when it's starts.
The battle page would have you and your hit options on the top left, and your teammates life bars on the top right in a live list. Then across the bottom you would see small versions of all 5 of the opponents in the opposite group so you can choose who to hit with your next attack. Keep the limit to 25 attacks per person and a 5 minute timer still.
This way you could all attack the same person to take out a heavy hitter quicker, or each attack different people, or whatever.
I'd suggest a battle chat log that you can toggle between team chat and battle chat.

I'm currently posting this with TornTools enabled.
--- I don't think this has anything to do with TornTools.
I have an agreement with a faction mate to attack him and lose so he can work on a merit and I can make some game money. Very common to sell loses I believe. Anyways, I popped a Xanax, hit him and lost 6 times, then switch to attacking 4 of my low level targets to work on the finishing hits by weapon type merit. When I hit the fourth low level guy, I got the 10 respect for a chain creation... That seemed really strange to me.
I can see how him winning the defends would count as the first 6 hits of the chain since we are in the same faction, but I feel like this isn't intended? It just seemed off and it's the first time I've ever noticed it happen. I screenshot the "chain". It's Chain #51897016.
If this is a bug, it's doesn't really hurt anyone or offer any really advantages... but if it isn't, it's a strange little thing I don't think anyone knew about. Perhaps coding for in-faction battles to be exempt from chains is what's missing? IDK, y'all are all smarter than me.
Thanks for reading this.

Since the last Crimes 2.0 update I've noticed that sometimes my daily 100 item purchases are denied with the red text of "Item Not Available In This Country"... but it's not always the same items. Sometimes it's sheep or kittens in Bits. Sometimes it's the plastic, card stock, or sewing kits in the print shop...
If I've somehow missed a memo that I can buy these in a foreign country, I'm happy to - but then why are they listed at all in the Torn shops if we can't buy them in Torn?
This is gonna look awful. Sorry. I switched over, and it seems like each crime type now maxes out at 10k each, with 15 medals you can earn. Plus 25k total crimes with 15 medals to earn. And each crime will have 2 honors you can get - the first for maxing that crime to exp level 100, and the second for some random specific thing for that crime. Ie - for Search for Cash its finding 6 peices of rotting food and drink...?
