You are being manipulated by your leaders into behaving a certain way, much like what Jan-Erik Olsson did to the hostages, and you in turn are defending them, just like the hostages did. You can choose how to play torn in any way you want. However, from the outside, it looks like a horrible relationship between a faction, its leaders, and its members. Truth be told, your leaders continue to backtrack on their words time and time again in this thread. They claimed no other member had been mistreated and only Dubai has been treated that way. Eventually, another member came out and said the same and they've avoided that message like the plague. Faction leaders help members grow, learn, and even get merits and awards for bonus hits. And none of what I mentioned is happening. They are using you to farm respect and you quite literally are goats that are expandable to them. Know your worth my dudes.
On a more serious note, mental health issues are fecked. Both the stigma that hovers around it and the social issues faced by the people who experience it. Mutant is very much in the wrong here. Kandage did his part in correcting mutant (or so he claims), buttttttt... should've left it after the very first forum post and not interacted further.
In Torn, the judge, jury and the executioner are all same people who have the vocal majority. Is Sacrifice right? Ofc, Mutant abused them verbally and they have a right to call him out. Does calling him out help them in any way, shape or form? Nope. So why do it? A public trial. And unfortunately, for Mutant, he was deemed guilty. Was it right? Well that's subjective and up for interpretation.
So where do we go from here?

Your comment about "few shortcuts to make money" in Torn is both brain-dead and stupid. There's a boat load of ways to make money in Torn that land you billions of $$$ quick that you haven't mentioned and the fact that you don't know the nuisances of the game other that of what you see at the surface show what kind of player you are. A few ways to make a boatlaod of money quick are selling scripts, running a successful company, diversifying investments and building passive wealth through both item retention and reselling (buy low, sell high for RW weapons).
Do us both a favour, re consider your statement that passive aggressively mocks a genuine player of their achievements.

That's why I commented on a post done by HerrSchmidt rather than the forum thread on the queens passing a few days back. I used history to enlighten the atrocities committed by a past govt.
I do not have any particular feelings against the current govt or its people. and if I did insinuate that in any context, do forgive me. My point was making tone-deaf comments and racist about past history still hurts the people in the present. Just used an example. That's all :D
