If you go to the northwestern corner of Torn's border, to one of the most hell-stricken parts of sector 7, you will find a particular abandoned office complex that stands out among the rest as it is the only that does not have any graffiti on it. If you go inside, and down into the basement, you will find a hole in the wall that opens into a small tunnel and extends deep underground. Approximately 500 meters down, the tunnel opens into a small cave, and in that cave several primitive paintings can be found on the walls. The oldest has been dated by experts to be nearly 10,000 years old. These paintings feature wildly different composition styles, but nearly all depict grisly scenes of cannibalism, ritualistic sacrifice, genocide, and doing the Charleston.

Strangest of all, every single painting found in the cavern seems to revolve around a central figure. This figure is frequently displayed as equal parts leader, great warrior, and dance-champion. It has been near universally described by archaeologists and Torn historians as clearly meant to represent Duke Calabrese with a full head of hair, despite the context of the paintings making this seem absurd. Despite the many expeditions into this cave and extensive research conducted by many of Torn's top scientists, almost no information is available to the public due to the tendency for anyone who enters the cave to disappear without a trace soon afterwards.

No leads have ever been discovered regarding the whereabouts of the vanished. The only other information that has ever been gathered is that anyone who broaches this subject with Duke himself, or mentions/alludes to it in any way, will also disappear without a trace. To this day, whenever Duke has been questioned on the possible whereabouts of these missing persons, or any other information he may have about them, he has simply insisted that they never existed to begin with. Any identifying documentation that has been brought to him in order to prove the existence of a missing person has also mysteriously disappeared before he was able to view it, with one witness claiming that a driver's license literally vanished out of her hand before her very eyes.
