My dumb faction hit platinum before 50,000 respect. Started completely from scratch with a brand new faction and we've worked hard to get here. Started off doing 10 chains with every xan just to get r and now we're starting to feel like a real faction. We still don't even have the full armory unlocked and rehab costs are insane but together we've managed to become the shittiest platinum faction ever and I'm proud of us

Hello, I've decided to start a completely new faction and build it up from nothing. This isn't the smartest thing to do but it's an aspect of playing Torn not enough people get to experience.

As ex Berserk/Hamag/Sacrifice members we're pretty determined and enjoy fiercely working to push our faction forward and we need people who can get behind that kind of loyalty. People with high activity but also know that Torn is meant to be enjoyable, not a job. We're hoping the gradual building of a faction will be more enjoyable than all the boring platinum and diamond wars in big factions. People are too obsessed with getting themselves the most they can but I think working as a team is more fun.

Looking for experienced players who think putting the team first sounds like fun.

I wanted to experience building up a faction from nothing since it's a part of the game most don't get to experience and I find it rewarding

Thought I'd also mention that I was in a less than 1m respect faction for the start of my account and a 1-2m respect faction for a while but at the start of 2025 or maybe a week before the new year a few friends and I created the faction we're in now from scratch and my rehab bills were so high that I stopped taking xans and got the merits for 50 of the other drugs

I couldn't afford rehab and was locked out of my gyms for a while

Also we couldn't war at the very start because of not having enough people

So bear in mind I had no toleration for a while and it took a while to get the addiction xx we have currently

As the person who paid the 5th most of all Torn players in rehab fees during 2025 I can confidently say that rehab costs (particularly for players in smaller factions) are the largest costs I have to manage. It's around the 100m a week mark for me and I fund it by warring but it's a pretty big chunk of what I make

It's definitely possible to do it in less wins. Hidden rank is based on the average stat score of the top 80% of members. Ours was probably gold 3 but a higher hidden rank could do it in 4. Which has been done before, but you need people with higher stats than we have 

People take Torn way too seriously xD

My dumb faction is recruiting

We have very little in the way of perks, but we decide as a group what to unlock next. We're a freshly platinum faction with 50k respect and we only need 1 or 2 more active players that know how to war to do well in platinum

I can provide xans for warring and I'd like to get to the point where the faction funds training xans for people that do all they can during wars (ideally everyone)

I'm looking for players with 100m+ stats or at least very active players with experience warring

We play Torn as a group. Working together to push the faction forward. We have plans to get better rw gear and all that when we can afford it. Playing in giant factions is so boring. Everyone is so focused on getting every advantage they can. Growing as quickly as possible. Making the most money. Obsessing over what's best for oneself. We'd rather just fight a good war, unlock upgrades and work towards getting more fun gear as we grow together

I know it seems like a dumb decision to join such a small faction but games are supposed to be fun, yknow?

P.S. Rehab is expensive especially if you're 1b+

Lol I didn't know D3vl even had done that I just wanted to experience a part of the game that I hadn't yet. The whole process of working hard just to unlock the next chain upgrade and all that seemed enjoyable and it really has been
