I'm currently posting this with TornTools enabled.
Here's the issue. I finished an official race in 1st place according to the race player, but the events and hover-over on the racing icon shows I finished 2nd.
I would not consider this a game-breaking bug. Probably not that serious either due to very marginal difference in rewards (in the grand scheme of things), and is VERY statistically unlikely to happen. Aka, not serious, not likely = not that important.

Unlike Dick Dastardly, I'm not particularly pissed or raging, but very much amused at the improbability of the situation that this race actually did come down to a "judge's call" by the programming.
Events:
After disabling TornTools (for reference): No change
Grindy achievements: Aged Like Fine Art - Have each area's reputation be exactly equal to your age in Torn at the same time [[GRAFFITI]] Movie Hoarder - Have at least 10,000 of each genre of bootleg DVDs at once [[BOOTLEGGING]] OCD - Every genre has the same number of copies, and not currently making any copies (must be >10,000) [[BOOTLEGGING]] (next level from Movie Hoarder) Pointless - Have 1,000,000 points on you (potentially too easy though)

This is one of the most comprehensive spreadsheets I've handled in any game. While it does take a little bit of work to set up, jtower has given clear instructions on the setup, and it's been functioning well for me thus far.
Is it worth 89m? If you are someone who loves crunching numbers, tracking progress, min-maxing and optimizing, or want an expertly crafted example of scripting to breakdown and learn from, it is definitely worth considering.
And if you do not have the 89m needed to pay for this project of passion, you don't need this spreadsheet; you need to read one of the other guides for making money in Torn first! XD
