In all my time here.. player polls have served one thing... to make ownership happy that they "consulted the people" Reality what you want to do you do anyhow regardless of any input of the player base. The player base will adapt or quit depending on their like or dislike of the changes. I honestly think that the game has become to soft... gone are the days of hard core warring, of blackmail, of a lot of things to satisfy the snowflakes who believe i started a faction i don't want to lose it.... well cupcakes... we all started a faction once too and took the time and the long long weeks of chaining to gain the respect along the way. New leadership of factions want this to be a warm and fuzzy game, god help them if they had started back when we did, where it was sink or swim sunshine. yeah you got zeroed out and it sucked but it happened to the best of us and made us stronger... now it's more like someone took my water gun and i want my mommy. So in essence... do as you will with the faction/warring bit. Those of us who wish to will overcome otherwise, we will leave. pretty simple.
This idea has merit, it would be one that would benefit factions when guest chaining, the only caveat to this would be that when a player is kicked from a faction for some reason, the key should auto revoke to keep them from rejoining. Outside of that, this is a wonderful suggestion!
