Hi everyone....

Big_Rico here.... It seems the time has come for me to leave this great city, and head back home to Mexico to enjoy my retirement.

I started playing this game when I was 15, I am now 30 years old and feel its time to move on.... nearly 15 years of my life playing with some of you guys here in Torn, and in the main, it has been a blast.

So much has changed, and over the years there has always been the next thing to keep me engaged in the game.... but, as with most Veterans, the lack of changes and new avenues of gameplay have left me disengaged and somewhat of a dead end.

I hope I have made some great friends here, I feel like I have and would like to keep those going outside of the game.... Some of you guys know some serious shit in my life and have always supported me.....

Some notable events:
* Started life as Ra1der (You know the rest)
* Member of MnC (Under the great Myhedin)
* Co-Leader of Rockstar (Had great fun in our rivalry with Relentless, that still lives on)
* Getting DB'd in Rockstar by Relentless to end a huge guestfest
* Assisting with getting Nath fedded for Multiple Accounts after he took over his cousins account.
* My time in JFA - The biggest set of assholes this game has ever seen (And will never be beaten)
* The Island war - Man, what an intense experience
* Elimination 2020 (Leading Terror Bytes alongside Andyman, ThtAstronautGuy and Dalzadar - Great guys)
* Natural Selection (Too much to say here, my forever home and forever in my heart)

Ched - Please hear the calls of the Veterans to really focus yours and the Devs energies to new game experiences..... New Players are great, but the Vets have invested so much time here, its a shame we keep seeing people reach this point.

To all of those who know me, and all those who know I love them and are part of my circle - I will miss you all greatly, please keep in touch.

Stretch, Rhino, Deebo, Winstone, Spliffy, CloudJumper, CapturerHulkmad, DamonsDemon, ttyper, Einstein, Penicillin, Deft, Bones, ElChapo, god there are way too many to mention, sorry if I missed you.

As a goodbye gift to you all, I have a collection of Bottles of Tequila, straight from the finest country in Torn (Mexico). Please feel free to drop me a mail and I will send one over to you, from Big_Rico.

My final day will be 31st December, as it only sees right to see out the final part of the year with you guys, and then move on with my life, forever remembering the great friends here in Torn.

On 31st December, I will make my final flight back to my home country of Mexico, where I will rest in the very best luxury home that money can buy.

Dirty Bomb Info!!

This has been something I have wanted to do for a while... but there has never seemed to be a chance of it happening or the right time for me to do it...

This bomb is for everyone who has ever had to deal with 1 person specifically... This person has spent a number of years terrorising a number of individuals across many factions.... and personally, I had enough of their shit long ago.... Time for you to eat some shit!!

Final Update

I believe this to be the biggest troll in Torn history - and hope it goes down as so.

Many of you will know this person... Many of you will think they are harmless, but they have spent alot of years being a thorn in my side.... never helping out, never pulling their weight.

Other members of this faction are also unsavoury, both have been previously members of NS... and now are part of another common family.. but they deserve this bomb.

And of course, it was also a good time to drop this, for s couple of reasons,
- Recent DB Events
- A few of my NS2 friends guest chaining for this faction.

But ultimately, 1 person in this faction made it all worth while.

CapturerHulkmad this is for you. You annoying prick, you've spent all these years being sub par, bullying me in NS and JFA chat, and doing fake Xanax giveaways.

Hi everyone....

As many of you will have seen, today is my final day in Torn... later on, I will be flying to Mexico to retire... Thread Here

This post isn't intended to be about me, hence the link to the other thread.

To Chedburn:

Your game has provided me with alot of fun over the years, I have made some fantastic friends along the way and think I can truly say that the interactions within the game have helped shape the person I have become IRL, I believe it also allowed me to learn better communication skills to support with life growing up, as I'm not 30 and have pretty much grown up in Torn.

Many people have raised the issue of the game becoming stale as they get further up the ladder and complete more aspects of the game.... I'm sure this has been noticed by yourself and bogie, but I don't feel like it has ever been fully addressed, we still have very minor updates to things that really don't matter.... like the 2 new additions for spending merits....

Faction Warring is still not really a thing, with Rackets providing only minimal opportunities for any real action. And after years we are still waiting for Crimes 2.0

Let me be clear .... I am not leaving the game solely for this reason, but it certainly contributes when all I could achieve by staying is to grow an imaginary number like Stats or Networth, rather than having game mechanics that allow me to be engaged and have fun with my friends and faction.

Please take notice of the older player base and use the Devs time wisely to bring some game changing updates that will really engage the older player base..... After all, we have been here supporting you for such a long time.

2 things really 

 

1 - People - Chatting to people everyday, across the multitude of factions I've been in, companies I've owned etc will always keep me engaged. 

 

2 - Progression - You've never completed everything in Torn.... I've spent alot of time chasing awards in the last few years, but if you're bored of that, there is always something else to focus you energy on 

Not sure if this is an achievement, or a call for help 🤣🤣

 

Feel like I've achieved alot in my time.... and spent more of my life playing this game than I have without playing the game.
