Its part of the game yes, but you still have a choice.

Thats where i think the lines are blurred, it touches on personal morality. Some find it an okay thing to do and will defend that position, some will just think its wrong, because its not something one would do to another irl.

The "its just a game" will be something to fall back on.

But there's an old saying "give a man a mask and he will show his true face" .

So there's this interesting dynamic here between character and gameplay.
