Is there even data how much CE the new crimes give compared to C1 crimes and compared to each other?

The problem is that you can't rely on being lucky and getting the 9 as last digit. It could have also happened that the 5, 8, 9 would have produced "Yellow 5" 8 9. That way you would know that the 7 is the number you are looking for and that the 5 is the right most number but you'd not know whether the 7 is itself a yellow or a green number. So you wouldn't know if it is 745 or 475.

Well in that situation you'd have played yourself trying to be smart. If you had proceeded with the standard 789 you would have 100% gotten a green one as there are no other options and either way that would have resolved the rest.

So lets say you'd have gotten 7 8 9:
Then you know 5 is not in the middle and not on the left so it must be on the right and thus the only remaining space for 4 is in the middle:
-> 7 4 5

If it's instead 7 8 9:
You'd know that the 4 cannot be left or middle (one is wrong and the other occupied) so it must be to the right, Leaving the left space for the 5:
-> 5 8 4

And if it were 7 8 9:
Well you'd switch 5 and 4 and receive:
-> 5 4 9

Either way you're good, so 2 yellow that are not in the same column is a chest you can unluck.

Unfortunately that was bs, because the premise of getting a green 100% is bs, it's only a 33% chance to get a green one...
