I'm surprised there's not a brief guide on here regarding the sale of a company to another player, and all the fine details that come with it i.e. setting pay and budget to 0 so you can empty the company account prior to sale, waiting for the money to appear in the trade before you add the company, how you have to hire the buyer before you can go ahead, how not to get scammed etc. Despite how detailed the generic Director/Employee handbook is, it doesn't cover any of this.

Does anyone know of a guide like this or would consider drafting something up from their experience for the benefit of the community?

I'd do it myself but I am very inexperienced
