Tangwulin has always been a respectable member of Torn. He was a great fan to many of us, and definitely paid a lot of special attention to myself and the other members of Monarch. It saddens me to say that it has taken me this long to notice that he has chosen to retire in Switzerland. I however feel like we have done him a great disservice. You see, Tangwulin had a vendetta against the karma system and as such I cannot stand to see him retire with nonzero karma.

I know this doesn't seem like much anymore, but it is to me and was the first long-term goal I set for my torn career. I've met many great people since joining this game and would like to give a special shoutout to a few because I wouldn't be here without them.
First and foremost is the mentor that picked me up shortly after starting. The man, The myth, the bringer of math and spreadsheets-- Adobi [2443510] He picked me up and taught me the ropes. (as my networth graph would show I didn't listen closely to #3 the casino is a trap) I spent a lot of my early life in torn learning about the game and trying to make optimal choices to set myself up for success, and much of that came from the great deal that I learned from Adobi and the guides he recommended. He's been with me every step of the way since and even tried to teach me a bit of coding. HUGE shoutout to this phenomenal individual. Thank you Adobi!
Even more important than the knowledge gained from Adobi was the network he introduced me to. I was invited into my first faction, one that really felt like a home- Shoutout to the people over at Winter Is Coming. Love you guys! When I joined it was a relatively small guild run mostly by people that knew each other in real life. The friendly atmosphere really helped me want to get into the game. Everyone was incredibly helpful and patient with me as a newer player, I really can't thank them enough.
Next up on this list would have to be my current home Monarch Research. To be honest, I joined MR with the intention of using their perks and little else. It was a selfish decision. It took some time but this decision really grew on me as part of my daily life. MR has some amazing perks for sure, but the biggest perk for me was the mindset of all of the competitive people gathered into one spot. (and the steadfast, can't forget the steadfast) Shoutout to all of you guys, but especially Ekim_ [2094410] for no other reason than he would kick me if I didn't ;)
Additional shoutout to all of the traders that put up with my bullshit of buying and selling plushie sets in mass (mostly Bravotitan [2423520])

Ive done over 20 trades, all over 100m, with Midnight and have yet to have a single issue. Lives up to his namesake, usually the only trader on late at night, helping out this night shift worker. 10/10
