Good morning Kelsie,
I had read the article in the newspaper and thought that was incredibly kind. I have done something similar in MMO's I participate in helping our newbies and getting over that initial challenge of getting started - thanks much for this, and I think it's great you are doing a "pay it forward" effort.
As to myself, I have been gaming forever - from starting playing Pong (that horrible black and white tennis game), to Intellivision gaming system to all versions of Nintendo gaming, to Sega gaming, and now primarily PC gaming and MMO's. I was drawn to Torn because of the old school aspects of it and it's something I can easily dive into throughout my day, and enjoy learning the mechanics of a game.
I haven't completely decided on my path forward, but I am curious to explore the chaining aspect and the various crimes, I want to continue to level and build my stats, and contribute to the faction events.
Fun fact: When I was still in college I was working security for a series of concerts for Cheap Trick over three nights, and while I was working the pit in front of the stage over the course of three nights their guitarist, Rick Nielsen, threw a bra over my head (girls were throwing them on stage), put his guitar on me and the other security staff (I was able to fumble out the opening riff of "Daytripper") and picked up about a 100 custom guitar picks.
Thanks for providing this offer.

My girlfriend asked me to stop singing the Oasis song "Wonderwall" to her. I said "maybe...."
