side note. The kids, 5yr old and a 3yr old, were on their best behavior and steered clear of our elf on the shelf all month, her name is “Elfer.” But when I woke up this morning they managed to reach Elfer and were playing with her as if she were a toy given to them for Christmas. lol

Some really great info. Sad I didn’t know this when I first started, I wasted a few weeks working in the army with very little gained. I had to learn my mistake on my own. Hope the right eyes see this before they make the same mistake I made.

to answer your questions, hopefully I remember what they were lol
what brought me to torn? My in real life wife wanted us to play a game together, and she found this. Her name is wicincila in this game. So she found this game and we started playing. I really love this game so far, there is so much to it!
my short term goals in this game. I’m aiming for hopefully, but doubtful, 100 merits by 100 days.
I’m currently a trader, think I’ll stick with that for now unless I find something more profitable. I’m currently saving up to purchase my own private island, currently renting right now.
I’ve received a lot of help from my faction members, I doubt I’d be as far as I am right now if it weren’t for them. I definitely believe I’ll be playing this game in the long term. It’s a lot of fun and I enjoy the community here!

I started playing this game because my wife wanted us to play a game that we both can like. She’s not a gamer, I do tend to play games while I can.
Even though I do play a number of different games, I have never played a game such as this one so this is an entirely new concept for me and has its own challenges.
These challenges have been a bit of a struggle, but with the support of the faction members here those challenges have been answered for me. I might add, fairly quickly since we have active members worldwide. I enjoy this faction because the leadership are helpful and offer advise and assistance when needed, especially for a newbie like myself and my wife. Thank you to the leadership and fellow members for the great help that we are receiving.
I encourage anyone (newbie or established player) to join this faction because even though this is a new faction the assistance is there and we are working together to become a bigger and stronger force within the Torn City community.
