I am only 7 days old in the game but have already made it to Level 9 (so not quite the 10-15 you asked for - yet).
It took me a while to get the hang of the Attacks (I couldn't easily work out how to find people so spent a lot of my Energy in the Gym to beef myself up). Eventually, I realised how all my Stats worked and could follow a list of targets on my Faction's forum post. That made it a lot easier. But, if that list runs out, I am still not really sure how to find people to attack.
I suspect I am not the youngest player on Torn (early 60's) but am young at heart. I am enjoying all the intricacies of how the game has been put together. I am hoping to mostly focus on trading, maybe my own company one day, and getting to Level 15 so I can travel.
I only added my donator status yesterday - so I've done pretty well for myself so far.
