Hello
You are probably not going to get good at poker but everyone can get better. Strange things happens as you get better. You know the right thing to do but you don't do it. A small percentage of people will actually learn and use what they learn correctly. So have fun playing poker and if learning about poker is fun for you poker can be a great hobby.
Each poker player has a different idea about how everyone else should play poker. I do not know how other people should play poker. I do know how I would like to play poker but as I said strange things happen as you learn more. So here is MY advice it is not the best advice and I think you should learn your own style.

I have created a few scripts you can use while you play poker on torn that will drill some of these ideas home.

Here is another idea that is fun to think about while playing poker.

And here is a script to use while playing poker that will give you a deeper understanding of this.

Remember during a hand of poker it is best to just to play. After the hand is over review it and learn as much as you can.

When you learn to play poker "correctly" your brain does not release dopamine because you are no longer gambling. You will win money but you will not enjoy it. It becomes like a job. So don't learn too much and prepare to lose and like it!
"The escape is successful if the defender misses again, which means your escape chance is based on the attacker's dexterity compared with the defender's speed."
So take a item before the fight to increase dex and bring a temp item into the fight to debuff speed? This would increase your chance to escape as much as possible?
This script allows you to play a heads-up tournament on the cash game table Duel at Dawn.

You need to use real money bet sizing BB bet sizing will not work.
The idea is simple script counts how many hands are played then requires the players to raise a predetermined amount to raise the blinds to force action so a tournament does not go on forever.
const HANDS_PER_LEVEL = 5;
Change this number to adjust as you like right now it is 5 for quick testing. If both players are running the script and follow the rules it works. If one player breaks a rule there are methods to fix it. Read the documentation for those details. Kinda boring stuff.
const BLIND_SCHEDULE = [
{ level: 1, sb: 50000, bb: 100000, label: '50k/100k (Standard)' },
{ level: 2, sb: 200000, bb: 400000, label: '200k/400k' },
{ level: 3, sb: 300000, bb: 600000, label: '300k/600k' },
{ level: 4, sb: 600000, bb: 1200000, label: '600k/1.2m' },
{ level: 5, sb: 1250000, bb: 2500000, label: '1.25m/2.5m' }
];
This is the current blind structure. Will be looking for feedback before I start changing these details. Have fun with it and anyone that wants to improve it feel free I know there are tons of improvements possible.

ralucakiss84 used real money to buy torn money and the money was transferred to him/her via torn poker chip dumping?
I think it is important to know the way the torn money was transferred so in the future perhaps we can spot others doing similar things. And if this is the case which other accounts got banned in this scheme?

I won’t play I hope but I would watch from a safe distance.
Thanks for the video it is very clear now.
You played it out till the end props that must have been scary.
I like it. A few changes to the UI and the setup will help. I had to go to a silent table so I could enter my username. The input field blinks with every table update making it hard to type fast enough. The scale of the AI was large for my setup. There is a lot of info so I see why it is large. It also worked on mobile. I did not use it very long yet will keep testing. Great work!
Sign me up please.
Thank you for the awesome script.
Great work, thank you. It must be broke tho I am not a Nit. I’m just card dead, yah that’s it. Not a Nit no chance. ;)
This is perfect for me everything right there where you need it. Thank you.

Always assume you got lucky.
I am interested what you expect to find if you see the code.
- The random number generator is not 100% random? This is actually highly probable but not something to worry about. Computers have trouble generating truly random things. If everyone is subject to the same flaws in the randomness it should not matter enough to worry about.
- The code is letting certain player types win like people that pay real money to torn get better luck at the poker tables? This would be easy to play against. Dont play against players who beat you often. This helps you in two ways if they are cheating or if they are just good at poker either way avoid them. This is probably the most important skill in poker anyways.
- Super users, some players can see other peoples hands or the cards that are coming next before they are dealt. In the past when this has happened the cheaters cant control themselves and win way too much or win in ways that make it very clear they have this info. Again you dont have to worry about cuz it will be clear what is happening.
- AI is being used to make the cheating undetectable. This is the one to worry about for two reasons. You wont know it is happening and there is nothing you can do to avoid it. If you are losing money at any poker game you should quit playing that game. If the AI targets you to be one of the losers it will only pick you if it sees you as a losing player already. It knows a losing player wont quit even when they lose cuz they are used to losing cuz well they are losers so it just picks the fruit that is ripe.
It is much easier to learn how to play winning poker than to try and figure out who and how people are cheating you imo.
This won’t be the best summoning in the world, no
This is just a tribute.
First tip, decide on a style loose or tight. Pick tight cuz learning to win playing loose or a mixed style will take years to learn. You can learn to play tight in minutes. Get preflop charts and keep it simple by never playing shorthanded. Less charts to study and lower variance.
Second tip, decide to play aggressively. But you need to understand what aggressive means. Aggression in poker
Third tip, it is ok if people bluff you and you fold the winning hand. It feels like they are always bluffing you and when you catch them you feel great. Problem is they often are not bluffing and you just need to fold until you learn more about that player. You can win more than enough if you just wait till you have a very strong made hand and they try to bluff you again and get caught.
Tip number four!
Poker — set mining for fun and profit and the rule of 15/25/35
Final tip!!
Table selection and table position. Table selection, all tables are full of bad players on torn you can't pick a bad table.
Table position, you want the bad players on your right. Leave the table and come back if you find good players taking seats to your right.
Bonus tip, act crazy once in awhile, it is fun and it will confuse the few players who pay attention.
Be ok.
