Something strange just happened and I’m curious if anyone else has seen anything like it.

At 00:35:31 - 13/04/25, I received exactly $250 from a player named bobhi. (00:35:31 - 13/04/25 bobhi sent $250 to you)

That’s the standard starting amount when someone joins TORN.

Naturally, I checked his profile. As of now:

• He has zero stats.

• No crimes committed.

• No activity recorded.

• No faction, job, or any interaction history.

It looks like he signed up and immediately sent me his entire starting cash, without saying anything. I have no connection to this player, and we’ve had no previous interaction whatsoever.

Anyone have any idea what this could be about? Is this a known tactic or maybe part of a multi-accounting scheme? Or could it just be a new player messing around?

UPDATE: I don't know if yall are just trolling me but now I have anonymously been given another $250
(02:50:13 - 13/04/25 You were sent $250 from someone with the message: Please return asap)

this time it has been anonymous, this isn't a brand new account, so i'm assuming someone is now messing with me as to send money anonymously it costs and extra 10% or something I believe.

Oh well, free money is Free money :)

How does the RW weapon bonus work on bosses? 
That's all I want to know, because the bonus works as a chance to insta kill your target.

Hey everyone,

I recently started using a Claymore sword from the melee cache, and I’m trying to understand how the XP system works on Ranked War weapons and armor.

A couple of questions I’m hoping someone can help with:

1. How does XP gain work for Ranked War gear?

   • Does XP increase from normal attacks, or only in Ranked Wars?

   • Does higher XP actually affect performance (damage, accuracy, etc.)?

   • How do I increase the XP

2. Any idea how much my Claymore is worth?
   

   • Mine has no XP since I’ve just gotten it.

Just trying to figure out if I should keep using it or if it’s better to sell/trade it. Any info or tips would be much appreciated! Or if you know a forum page that can help me with this.
