Heart of the Dark was purchased and founded on 12 October, 2021 by cynical, with a promise from Lord_Kelvin to come over as co, and supply a few members. This initially made up our current leadership structure. At the time, we had a small core of people and a max of 10 hit chain. We farmed it, and got to where we are today, 25 possible members, 250 chain and traveller friendly with +7 carry and -5% cost, for those with no private airstrip.
3 for 3 in ranked wars, so far. Once every month or two, we join. Weekly chain, except during war, and usually the week after. 20+ hits per week are expected, whether in a chain, or spread out. Flyers can skip hits by donating 2 Xanax or equivalent med items per week.
Weekly RNG based faction race, open to the public, and advertised on both "The NEW New Olympus" and "Pit Stop" discords.

Not a terrible idea, kind of negates the point of the Adult Novelties company though, and then there are EDVDs via stocks. The problem with making high value items more accessible is that they lose their value when the market is flooded with them.
if they were added as a bootleg item though it would be interesting to see them added with additional outcomes. Maybe less happy bonus than a ‘real’ EDVD (but still more than candy) but… there could be a 1 in 1000 chance you go to jail instead.
would balance the risk of market saturation if they had negative outcomes as well as positive.
Having to promote bazaars on forums is just asking for trouble, takes away all the chances of genuine traders and just incentivises buy muggers to hit you as soon as you put up a post.
I'm all for improving the game, but the last few updates have been the removal of staple events, with no replacements, the removal of the tokens system, which retired a bunch of merits, and now they've made it harder for people to actually make money in game.
Makes me far less inclined to keep my annual membership when it comes time for renewal, I don't mind paying for the game once a year, but I do mind paying for a game that isn't as good as it was when I started playing.

Contrary to popular belief, the Easter Bunny is not covered in fur. He likes to sneak into the bedrooms of those foolish enough to sleep with their windows open in this city and pluck an individual hair to add his collection. He dyes them pink before gluing them to his body because he once spent a summer working at a fairground making cotton candy for all the visitors and he really liked the colour of those fluffy little balls of sugar.
Wish I’d thought to check this myself when I switched jobs. I spent my first month in Torn for the most part as a law abiding citizen (I mean I committed crimes, but when there are no police or laws it’s still technically law abiding right?) and worked in the army climbing the ranks and saving those job points.
I recently switched to a new company based job and thought I lost over 100 points. Good to know they are still there if ever I decide to go back.
