Guys, thank you for your concern. I figure I should clear the air. Yes, I am the guy who has taken up this project. And yes, this is going to be quite a high-effort and time-consuming project. Kaya and I have discussed the specifics and we both realize the complexity of it. However, owing to my training and background in vector animation, it's something that I am quite capable of doing.

I have often found it difficult to find patrons for high-effort artwork as it seems like everyone just goes for low-quality, cash-grab garbage that sells in these forums. Moreover, spending several weeks to months on a single project is not always feasible, as I do this for torn bucks and I could instead make hundreds of millions selling large quantities of low-quality material every day, as most others in these forums do, bar a few. With all that said, I refrain from doing garbage work and stay true to my craft; and I can say with conviction that whenever someone has come to me looking for high-quality work, I have never left them disappointed.


Here's a sample of completely original artwork that I have created in the past for people of Torn

1. Hand-drawn character I created for daddyg [2162860] to be used in his faction's graphics

A baby holding a gun appeared to be a taboo concept, therefore we had a hard time finding a ready-made character that suits the name of daddyg's faction, "Baby Champers." So we decided to use the pose of a video game character and I went ahead and drew this in Adobe Illustrator.

2. London newspaper ad for Jia [574315]

This was a unique project, and I believe Jia had sent their requirement to several good artists in torn. I was able to create a prototype that Jia liked and consequently received their patronage. The base map was made in Illustrator and the animation was done in After Effects.

3. Overdose insurance newspaper ad for Securop [2247082]

I had been meaning to do a platformer-style animation for quite some time and again didn't have a patron. I was extremely happy when securop approached me after having seen the London banner in the newspaper, as I knew this was my chance to scratch my itch. I spent quite a lot of time on this but I really enjoyed doing it. Itch scratched. Done in Adobe Animate and After Effects.

4. FTV graphics for Fear [18877]

Fear's requirement was that he wanted something edgy and ever-so-slightly creepy. Done entirely in Adobe Animate.

Torn GFX has rekindled the passion for art in me and I am grateful to the people who give me the chance to practice the skills I learned years ago.


P.S.: For the people who're messaging securop because he vouched for me, claiming that I probably have not created these myself, I request you to not bother him and confront me directly. Either you guys haven't met anyone with formal training in art before, or just can't wrap your heads around the fact that these forums still have some people who invest their time and energy into creating original content.

Lots of effort and time? Mate, creating my post took more time than making this video. You're not debating because you have no way to substantiate your previous claim that you actually purchased these templates with RL money. Don't act like it's the Christmas spirit.

Man, I'm sorry but I gotta let people know. All of these banners and the Santa one listed here have been ripped from renderforest.com (links below.) I say ripped because you have applied little to no effort on these, let alone any complex manipulation.

For the Santa one, I had asked Skeletor to look into the matter, but you said you paid for it. I know full well you haven't. How? Because a curious eye can see the corner of the watermark that you were not able to crop out. All you did was use the free version (the watermarked 360p version) and cropped the watermark out and did a sloppy job at that.
