Huh. I found 11 card skimmers on the map in my travels, but I didn't realize you could actually use them. It must take a special skill that I lack because my only option is to trash mine or give them away. I'll hang onto at least one of them until I figure out what I'm doing. Nice to know they can actually be used tho!

Happy 50th birthday, Barney! Surviving long enough to say that is something to show for it if nothing else, but I think you can tell from this thread that you have more than that. Everyone's situation is unique and has it's own obstacles, tho it seems feeling in a rut, surrounded by people you can't connect with and also a need to lean and nowhere to do it might becoming a more frequent occurrence. You are not alone in the feelings, so there are people out there who can understand and will share your load if you give them a chance. It's hard when you're depressed to find the energy or desire to tackle any task, even the simplest of them, so seeking out people who can help you find happiness and peace in a chaotic world may seem daunting but its worth it. You're off to a great start coming to the Torn community! I hope you can see from all of the responses that there truly are no strangers, only friends you haven't met yet. You are currently surrounded by people who care and want to help make your birthday and every day better. My own birthday is Friday, so I'll be making my wish that you and everyone who has seen down times recently finds some joy and comfort in the coming months. Something I remind myself a lot is that it's not a bad life, just a bad day. The next one could easily be better. You have so much time ahead of you to achieve the life goals you set for yourself, so try not to put an age limit on when you have to accomplish them by. I tried that myself and it never lead anywhere happy. What did help me was to make a list of 3 things every day that I'm happy about/grateful for, then I gather them all together for low moments and then I scan the list. Keeping track of the little joys along the way is crucial to an overall sense of well being in my opinion. Thank you for sharing with us and giving us a chance to help. Don't rule out professional help too if it gets too heavy. When you find the right one, they can have useful and life-changing advice.

Congratulations! That's awesome! I tripped and fell on my skateboard, wasting it early before it could do much for my stats, but it did wonders for my profile title. Now I have the goal of finding a parachute on the map to play with. Had I not accidentally used the skateboard, it would be sparkling in my cabinet right now. I do like the Worth It honor bar though! It was a comfort after such a foolish misclick. I think we'd all look pretty silly running around with parachutes on our back while riding skateboards, but I can see everyone wanting to do it.

I haven't found three, I'll admit, but I did find a skateboard a couple of months back. Then, with some misfortunate clicking and some help from my cat I accidentally used it. I just wanted to see the info, but that blew up in my face. Least it changed my profile from Nudist to Booster, but I had no stats to boost and I desperately wanted it for my display cabinet so extra sad face. They're out there. I pray I find another for my cabinet!!!

I'm complaining that all of the recent pet costumes I've seen recently aren't cute and are 99.999999% animal abuse! Where did the cute, humane ones go?
