My pub is about to have an opening. 9 stars. Not planning to take it to 10 so that I can keep giving free rotating trains to the employees.

Drunken Master: 10% melee weapon damage
Liquid Courage: Refill nerve bar for 25 job points
Lightweight: 50% nerve gain from alcohol
Pubs are a great company to gain CE or use the points for energy. The versatility is a major draw as you can stock up on points for both Crime and Energy events.

Number of stars has to do with revenue, age, environment, popularity, etc. and each different company type weighs those things differently.

Wrong thread
Get sub / donator status.
Get to lvl 15 as fast as you can to be able to fly.
Get in a decent level faction
Marry someone who has a PI / rents one who is willing to let you use it in exchange for paying the upkeep (get to lvl 15 first so you can afford that).
If you can swing the real life cash, a DP early on can help slam your progress.
We've had a couple world wars about territories, but there are so many big alliances that we are largely at a standstill for that level of war. Faction v Faction, yeah
If you have someone you trust, you can switch them to director and have them train you, but you can't be trained in the director position
Get to lvl 15
Crimes 2.0 is better and gives you access to OC 2.0 which can make you decent money
Most factions will require you have sub / donator status and maybe be in a PI
Go to a player owned company that has stars and you can buy / get rotated trains depending on the agreement you come to with them. You want 9k int before you do the city jobs.
If you are referring to SSL playstyle, it is outdated and not worth it for new accounts to try it.
Take the drugs or you will be spending more money and getting less than everyone else.
Growing a faction is a long and slow process. Given your age and NW, you are better finding a faction to join and to be able to grow yourself and your knowledge on how factions work.
Eventually you can buy a shell if you want. A shell is a faction someone is selling. It lets you skip a lot of the early growing of the faction, making it easier to recruit and shit
