"The mission of The Satanic Temple, a religious organization, is to encourage benevolence and empathy among all people, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense, oppose injustice, and undertake noble pursuits."
I've had a deepening interest in Satanism for the past few years and have finally decided I'm dedicated enough to consider myself a Satanist. I prefer The Satanic Temple, not the Church of Satan, but I am more than happy to hear views from anyone interested.
As a discussion topic - what led you to Satanism?
The campaigns TST has are frankly awe-inspiring; reproductive rights, mental health, stopping abuse in schools, freedom of ALL religions (in schools as well), non-religious-based sobriety, scholarships, and community support! I find the Seven Tenets to align so well with my views that I couldn't turn away.
I
One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.
II
The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.
III
One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.
IV
The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own.
V
Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.
VI
People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.
VII
Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.

I'm looking for book suggestions. I have been in a reading mood lately - I'm on a Stephen King binge but want to prevent burnout by mixing it up a bit.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions! I wasn't exposed to a ton of classic or crucial literature in school, so I am open to both the regularly suggested novels as well as ones that are more niche. Take into consideration your interests; don't worry about fitting mine.
To make up for it and thank you guys for keeping this thread active, I have sent out a bunch of goodies to a bunch of people. I will continue doing this and try to start up the normal drawings again!
Take this for the goat picture!

I absolutely adore wisteria, even though it is invasive. It doesn't grow in my exact area, but there are a few nearby areas within a few hours that have it, and I always love to see and smell it.
All of the thingies I see go here:

Not many flowers are out here yet this year, but here are all my plants - pages 2, 3, and 6 are my favorites!

Psychology major here - MBTI is hardly psychology. It's pretty much as valid as astrology and horoscopes in formal psych fields.
Myers and Briggs had no history in psychology; they've just become cemented in the tradition due to their test's appeal to popular 'psychology.'
If you'd like a more meaningful, science-based personality measurement, I recommend the "Big Five" test: https://bigfive-test.com/
Further reading and results of a study comparing the accuracy of both tests (and horoscopes).
Hey dude, I hope you're doing alright.
Hey there!
While I don't have any of the schizo-type disorders, I have a handful of other diagnosed mental illnesses and would be more than happy to chat if you'd like. One of mine is a personality disorder, which is often compared to having similar levels of stigma to schizo disorders. I will also graduate with a 4-year degree in psychology, so I come with a combination of professional and personal experience.
Feel free to send me a chat or message at any time! :)
Anyone know if the Evil Winnie Mask from last year counts as spooky clothing? Please message or chat me, I'll forget to check here.
Answered - thank you!
After a long day at work and a peaceful sleep, you wake up to find yourself in Torn City - turns out the rest was just a dream and now you're in the actual living nightmare.
(Based on a true story)
I received a naughty cache as one of my monthly subscription items and opened it to find opera gloves.
Is this a bug or just something that happens? Apologies if I am simply being dumb.
