I've been thinking something similar to this and you've kicked the competitive side in me enough to get around to coding a quick first iteration. My approach is a bit different. Essentially, I think you're asking the wrong question. Rather than asking what word is correct, I went with asking which letter in what location is most likely to be correct. The code is very raw because its late over here and I was throwing it together real quick so it isn't suitable for people who can't read the Python and understand.
