Which scam is the best for the money? · · 33 likes

Maybe a better scam was me paying attention in highschool, turning that into scholarships, 3 degrees, a military pension, and now as a doctor, I have all the toys, a cabin by the lake and 2 holidays a year.  Paying a little into this game is nothing, troll.

fully assembled t RW ARMOR SETS · · 7 likes

I have one set at this moment, but read below if you want a custom set. In fact, custom work has become the predominant operations here at Dr Cyanide's Armor Emporium. (if it isn't open, its because I am not awake, but the armor is likely still available, or I am working on a new set....exciting).

Assault Set
  1. Helmet: 14.81% Quality - 21% RW
  2. Body: 18.36% Quality - 22%R W
  3. Pants: 5.90% Quality - 23% RW
  4. Gloves: 27.84% Quality - 21% RW
  5. Boots: 41.69% Quality - 22% RW
  • Market Value: $5,187M
  • My Price: (matching the lowest prices per item on the market) - $4,490M

THAT MEANS YOU ARE GETTING A MID-QUALITY SET WHILE STILL PAYING THE BOTTOM PRICE FOR SUCH A SET

Riot Set
  1. Helmet: 4.29% Quality 21%RW
  2. Body: 14.48% Quality 21%RW
  3. Pants: 11.31% Quality 22%RW
  4. Gloves: 23.50% Quality 20%RW
  5. Boots: 20.86% Quality 21%RW
  • Market Value: $2,495M
  • My Price: (matching the lowest prices per item on the market) - $2,127M

THAT MEANS YOU ARE GETTING A MID-QUALITY SET WHILE STILL PAYING THE BOTTOM PRICE FOR SUCH A SET

This is a special listing that I am posting for a friend.

Riot Set:
  1. Helmet: 40.49%Qual 20%RW
  2. Body: 18.04%Qual 20%RW
  3. Pants: 39.78%Qual 26%RW
  4. Gloves: 23.32%Qual 25%RW
  5. Boots: 50.24%Qual 24%RW
  • Market Value: $3,586M
  • My Price: $2,689M
Look at the quality percentages on that set. That's a mighty fine set. And, that is quite the discount on that price. That's good value for the money.

LOOK AT THIS SET I AM CONSIGNMENT SELLING:

Assault Set[background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)][background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)][background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]
  1. Helmet: 28.56 Quality - 25% RW
  2. Body: 73.02% Quality - 25%R W
  3. Pants: 23.6% Quality - 21% RW
  4. Gloves: 25.71% Quality - 22% RW
  5. Boots: 14.79% Quality - 24% RW
[/background]
[/background]
[/background]
  • Market Value: $6,353M
  • The asking Price: $6.5B....but the key here is: "make me an offer"
ANOTHER SET I AM CONSIGNMENT SELLING:

Dune Set
  1. Helmet: 42.8% Quality 35% RW
  2. Body: 54.95% Quality 35% RW
  3. Pants: 48.69% Quality 34% RW
  4. Gloves: 40.32% Quality 32% RW
  5. Boots: 43.42% Quality 36% RW

  • Market Value: $2,975M
  • The asking Price: Starting at $2,600M
You can see the individual pieces I have, in my Bazaar. (I am also nearly completed a Dune set as well)

I am also working on a Riot Set and Dune Set. These sets will also target a price determined by the lowest prices on the market, with mid-level quality items.

CUSTOM SETS:
Message me your specifications (for instance: "Assault set, Pants/Body/Helmet all about 30% quality, 24% RW special, cheapest gloves and boots you can get"), and we can get to work finding those pieces in the parts of the market that the search engine doesn't look. Along that journey I can show you various graphs of the market that give you a confident understanding that your hard earned money is going to the armor set your truly wanted, not just the one you had to settle on.

Cheers

Ranked War Armour. A growing enterprise · · 6 likes

Feb02'2023:

SHORT VERSION: I am selling RW armour. I have a comprehensive list of all the RW armour on the market. Can't find what you want on the markets, maybe I can. I also evaluate items vs current market prices, accurately, timely and for free.

I love armour. And, I like math/data analysis.

I am curating a list of Rank War Armour that quite possibly has 95%+ of the entire market listed. I update this list every 1-2 days. I am tracking 40+ vendors. If you are selling RW armour, I am probably tracking you (read below on how that is a good thing for you).

What this means for purchasers:

1) I can quickly find you what armour you are looking for, if its available. Have a special request? Ask me and I can tell you what matches your desires. This simply cannot be done with the market search features, where you will only ever find the 3 cheapest items.
2) I can evaluate any piece of armour you are contemplating purchasing. I have developed specialized equations that can pinpoint what price the major vendors would likely list an item for. Precise to the $1, based on daily updated equations.
3) I can also evaluate any item you might already possess. Heck, I can even evaluate fictional items if you wish.
4) As I become more established in this field, and become a reputed broker, I can bring to your aid established relationships with vendors, enabling better price negotiations.

What this means to the big vendors:
1) Customers coming to me, seeking access to data from my database, will more likely be able to find your more valuable items, not being blocked by the game's basic search features.
2) You may not need to basement price your items in order to be visible in the search
3) You can become more selective in the items you wish to stock into your inventory, as you may be less concerned about stocking cheap items to be visible
4) You will be able to better pinpoint the value of your items, knowing that a standard has been established on the markets, based on actual trends within the market itself.

What this means to the small vendors:
1) If you make me aware of your inventory, I can make sure you are on the list. If someone is seeking items similar to yours, this could generate deals for your limited inventory without you worrying about taking losses to be seen on the search bar.
2) You can make your items available without risking being mugged with an open bazaar.

What this means for Auction sellers:
1) You can come to me, get your piece evaluated against the market, and I may be able to purchase it directly from you for 75% its market value. This saves you waiting days to possibly sell your item for less. This allows you to avoid the 3% auction house fee.

I am also selling RW armour items myself. See my inventory below. I will put these items in my bazaar for 10% above market value. That way, when I am buy-mugged, I will still be receiving 90% what the sell price was. If you message me for an item, I will sell it to you for 90% market value. In other words, the real sale price for these items is 80% what you see listed.

If this all goes well, I have plans on expanding this to include all RW weapons on the market. But lets start with baby steps and armour.

My Bazaar.

Assault Gloves. Quality 27.84%, Impenetrable 21%. Market Value $772M, My price: $695M

Assault Boots. Quality 41.69%, Impenetrable 21%. Market Value $912M My price: $821M

Riot Gloves. Quality 37.28%. Impregnable 23%. Market Value $493M, My price: $444M

Riot Gloves. Quality 2.07%. Impregnable 22%. Market Value $404M, My price: $364M

Riot Boots. Quality 9.62%. Impregnable 26%. Market Value $631M, My price: $569M

I've been at this game for what, 5 years now?

I can't afford Vanguard armour, or Sentinal armour, or even Delta armour.  It doesn't seem fair.

You all should just send me $27B of your stuff and then I can get the armour I deserve.

Cheers and thanks ahead of time

As another Albertan (until Alberta does something stupid like separate from the best country on the planet), how many of us are there here?

Also, what's the age range on an event like this?  I am not risking being the only 50 year old coming to an event like this.  I'll get labelled a predator.  Also, are there hygiene requirements....because if you combine Quebec with Role-Playing-Game with Video-Game, with Convention...holy shit is there going to be a BO issue.

Also, do you have to prove your vaccination status?

Has anyone ever done the work to truly try to penetrate the value of prayer in this game?

Like, really try...with legitimate science?

I haven't seen anything, but I also haven't looked very hard.

If luck/blessings were to exist, they probably would manifest most cleanly in xanax OD rates.

In a game like Torn, it would probably have some sort of cooldown effect.  I am not certain, but my gut is that it would not be stackable, else human pattern recognition in the community would likely have picked up on it.  Further, if it exists, its effect is likely small enough to also dodge human pattern recognition.

Would rosary beads have an effect?  In a game like torn, I imagine it would have an effect, and my guess is that they would either a) augment the luck effect, or b) be a gateway requirement to access the prayer-based luck mechanism.

I have a bit of a research background.  And, I am half decent directing Claude to make scripts.

With community involvement, I think we could likely collect enough data to statistically analyze this and put the issue to bed.

I am feeling this would be in the form of a script, that:

randomly assigned players to either:
1. never-pray
2. pray-once-within-5-minutes-of-xanax

ensure every participant is wearing a rosary

ensure compliance with their group (compliance and drop out would be likely the largest confounders)

keep track of business addiction level as a secondary statistic

record the number of xanax before an OD

Once an OD is detected, randomly assign the person to a group again.

I think that 1000-2000 ODs should probably be enough to pick up on a 5% luck effect.

I believe the proper statistical tools would be log-rank comparisons, followed by Cox proportional hazards regression.

Would there be interest in this?  Or has it already been done?

I couldn't help myself.  I had to go look.

Battlestat equivalence? ·

But, to wash that out in 1000 fights, we ensure each player starts half of the fights.  That brings that back to 50%:50% right?  Then what happens between them when def doubles in one player, while dex doubles in the other?  And, what happens when dex doubles in one, but hit points doubles in the other?

Battlestat equivalence? ·

OK...each is sporting an Enfield SA-80 with 66 damage and 57 accuracy

I think the OP is talking about companies though

Battlestat equivalence? ·

lets pretend that they are the exactly identical weapons, same damage, same accuracy, no bonuses.  For argument's sake, lets assume no armor.  Lets assume that they each have one weapon and just use that one weapon over and over again.

Forgive me for not delving into the math on this.  Afterall, this is a game, and I do enough heavy thinking at my day-job.

That said...maybe someone who is well steeped in that math can help me out.

Scenario: two players with identical stats (1B strength, 1B defense, 1B speed, 1B dexterity.  Same vanilla armour, same vanilla weapons.  Same hit points.  No job perks, faction perks, merit perks, etc.  No temp items are used.

If those two players fight each other 1000 times, they are expected to split the wins pretty close to the middle, right?

Now, if player A has 2B defense, and player B has 2B dexterity....are they still expected to split the wins roughly 50%:50%?

What if player A has 2B defense, but instead of B having 2B dexterity, they still have 1B dexterity but X2 hit points?  Still 50%:50%?

I'm just trying to wrap my head around this on a more qualitative level, maybe not a hard quantitative level.

Cheers

I am trading caches.

Do you have an armour cache, or a weapons cache you want to get rid of?

I have a cutesy, gentlemen, elderly, naughty, denim etc caches.

One for one.

Why keep combat caches, when you can be stylin' instead.

Camels for RWs ·

Do you have crappy RW that you can't use, and you can't seem to sell for a price that doesn't make you cry?

Don't sell them.  Send them to me.

I will send you back a camel plushie.  At least then you won't have that direct psychological trauma of getting too few dollars for it.

If you want a fox, nessie, monkey plushie instead, I can accommodate that.

Cheers.
