If you don't do those simple guidelines of respecting those before you. By all means torn will be an absolutely terrifying place. I have heard some pure horror stories of newbs coming in and learning real quick.

I generally do not post in the forums at all but might as well chime in torn is not a horrible place for new players most people that come into torn have had an extended invite from a friend, or heard of it from word of mouth. If anything Torn at its core is a Text based MMORPG based around crimes and drugs.

With that being said everyone's actions have consequences, if you come in newbie status and not knowing anyone with no support and popping off at the mouth to the community yes the community is gonna humble you very quick and not in the nicest way. The best way to get ahead in Torn is to absolutely respect those before you. Learn from them gain knowledge grow and learn. Read and educate your self. Becoming the supervillain will always result in your failure because keep in mind those before you will surely humble you quickly and have money to sink into your utter demise until you feel like quitting.

If you want all this to stop, I would suggest perhaps trying to make amends to those you crossed. Right your wrongs. And find a new path in being humble and minding your own. If someone mugs you ? Oh well. Cool carry on about your day. Someone attacks you cool, whatever they are probably chaining and have no real grudge against you. Now if your being repeatedly hospitalized ask your self... WHAT DID I DO WRONG TO ANGER SOMEONE. did you upset some of faction? Did you run your mouth? Did you bounty someone and they are gonna hosp you till you learn your lesson ?

I know I'm still very new to torn, but even I know as a small time player in torn respect of others gets you very far. And a lot of problems can be resolved with little to no conflict.

This is torn, learn to adjust and adapt. Not hello kitty adventures.

- Also after looking at your profile, your only a month old, torn is rough the first few months but it gets easier as you make connections and make the right connections, expect a lot of hospital time but if you keep your head down and focus on personal growth. I can assure you that no one would have ever bothered you. Should you have kept your self quite and respectful to your elders. And those above you and those that are stronger and have bigger alliances / factions . Honestly I would say right your wrongs and all of these problems your having should possibly stop. They have nothing to gain by hospitalizations of you. The only lesson you should. be learning is what you have done wrong and not to keep these punishments coming your way. -

Why is this not a feature ? It would be honestly a positive go in the right direction. It would heavily prevent weapon sales of items that you are really wanting to keep Instead of mistaking it for something else.
