Just recently started torn just over 2 months ago and have been addicted ever since. I play a lot of poker to make money, which is helping a lot early on and today I hit a milestone of reaching top 10 in net money won! Just thought id share :)
Hello & welcome to my 1 year achievement thread! Its been a long ride and I've done a few things in my time in torn.
First up the achievements:

50 NNB with around 8600 warehouses burned. Not too far from 55!

And time for a little story of my first year if anyone cares:
I began my journey in January last year as a clueless noob and was quickly recruited into Merchant Solider Sage on my first day, which was the second faction to reach platinum rank in the ranked wars. I got a load of great advice that helped me adjust to the city of torn quite quickly and I started taking xanax and stuff.
I then discovered the poker tables which is what I used to fund my training throughout the year, I had a network of over 9 billion at just 60 odd days old (which didn't last long). However, this helped me to start happy jumping ASAP and I got into a 10* adult novelties by buying trains to improve my work stats, allowing me to do repeated 99K happy jumps.
Following this, I made my move to NSIV where I continued to train and joined a candle shop for more e, which was nice. I managed to be the top hitter in both the two wars I fought in this faction and once I finished happy jumping I started drinking cans and going hard-core on my stats.
Following this, I made the move to PT Shadowrazers, full of a ton of great people and this allowed me to keep thriving and grinding this game out. As time went on, I ended up taking FHCs to train and using 30e cans in a 10* restaraunt to really max out my gains! Since I am terrible with my money and would waste it on RR, blackjack or opening the dreaded caches, I also started munching SEs very early, to eessentiallyput my money to use rather than just lose it anyway! My first SE gave me less than 1.3 million strength..

I kept this up and have now taken a total of 7 stat enhancers, which is probably a few too many for my age, but hey, whatever!
I closed off my final year in torn with another faction move to where I currently sit in Monarch Research and hope to continue thriving here as I continue along my torn adventure.
SO WHATS NEXT?
I'm not sure what's my goals are for the next year, but I likely will focus My defensive stats more now, as well as strive for that beautiful 60 NNB and get closer to being in a PA team. I also might take up mugging 'cos, why not? It's fun.

I see your point, however I've been away for 18 months. While I was playing and racking up that profit I used it to progress super quick with SEs, 30e cans etc so I lt did achieve something lol.
Credit where it's due, you managed through the relentless bounties so kudos 😉 I mean all it takes is typing your name in forum search bar to show how popular you've been😂
I remember putting like 2000+ bounties on you with Larry while you had no idea and got you into the top 100? Top 50? For bounties received? I forget. But that was fun, you thought it was the player called "you_" but it wasnt. Lol good times!
