This happened with a ' (becoming /' on profile), I didn't try other characters. First noticed on mobile, was consistent on desktop in both standard and dark mode.

long story short: i was sent a billion dollars from someone i don't want to interact with. i'm not going to send it back or send any items to them because that would extend the whole mess further. i'd like to do something extravagant and weird with it, but not quite sure what though.
I love torn clothing and try to make myself as ridiculous as possible to my attackers... can't we have a wearable fannypack, just like the balaclava? Of course the wearing might not provide any function, but the little bit of extra silliness could provide a little bit of joy.

as for my real resolution: i want to help more new players start the game and make it to level 15! i've sent 9 large suitcases to members of my faction who've hit level 15 with me, and hope to double that this year!

Hello! I'm also interested in being a wiki contributor. I'm a newish player, close to 11 months now, and have helped my factionmates by directing them to various guides, wiki pages, or writing guides of my own.
The wiki itself is very good for the most part, but there are times when reading I find myself wanting to write it differently or to lay out/divide the information in a slightly different way. Sometimes I want information that simply isn't there.
i've got two months left but it's been great. a lot of ups, a few downs.
i won't go into too much details, but give a little advice i wish i knew earlier.
* don't spend money at the casino that you can't afford to lose * but at the same time, people do win the lottery or get PIs from the wheel * you can decline missions * if you're smart about money, being self funded is easy after level 15 * do your crimes! * the bank is the best way to store money you're not using right now * torn is a social and information game. you can play alone, and you can play without worrying about stats, etc, but friends and knowledge are power!

my faction leader encouraged me to marry someone to split island costs... wrote a post, chatted with a few people, thought i'd found the one i was gonna marry..... but on the day i thought it was gonna all happen, things got really weird. we ended up throwing various items at each other until he sent me a billion and i blocked them so it would all end.
my leader's spouse was inactive, so i convinced him to leave her and marry me instead. and we've been running the fac together ever since.... we don't talk every day, but we get along. for a while, he secured our rentals and i paid the upkeep.... but with his job perk i don't even have to pay that any more.
Just finished reading The Lost Season of Love and Snow by Jennifer Laam. It's not a great book but is adjacent to Russian literary figures of the 19th century.
It's a historical novel based on the life of Natalya Goncharova while she was courted by and married to Alexander Pushkin. Pushkin was Russia's Poet Laureate of the early 19th century, died at 36 in a duel over his wife's honor. Their oldest child, a daughter they nicknamed Masha, grew up to be the inspiration for the title character of Leo Tolstoy's Anna Karenina.

A request: I finally realized, as an american, most of my reading is anglocentric and there are many countries and cultures I have read so little about. I want to expand my reading beyond the english world. I'd like recommendations of books that weren't written in english from someone in an english-speaking country (or germany, ireland, france, russia for that matter... I've read a few of those!). Can you help?
what can i say besides that i buy 'em and sell 'em. seem to be plenty in bazaars and item market when they can't be found in bits n bobs. used to concentrate on teddies from there, but kittens seem to have a higher demand right now.
Though, many countries celebrate their independence from the British. I just wish we'd modernized our political structure/elections more over the last 200 years.
