Facing same issue when going from pc ( chrome ) to mobile browser ( android/chrome ) to torn PDA ( google playstore ). Really irritating to log in each time since I switch several times in a single day.
While roaming around Christmas town, at location 153,197 a chest spawned under a fish preventing it from getting claimed due to the fish going splish splash. Playing on Android.
May or may not have been mentioned but how about an Alliance System built into the Faction System? A System that would allow cross function actions among factions inside the alliance and make alliances more visual/present.
Alliance created by 1 faction: for this example we'll just say PT-Family creates Crypto Alliance.
This would open up a new tab called alliances next to territories and a faction setting tab called Alliance Management.
Once created, other faction leaders can send faction requests by searching for an alliance in the alliance management tab. The application could appear the same way members do for application.
Once accepted, it could open up a few nice tools under alliance management tabs. Sending armory to another faction in your alliance “be handy for term wars”, Torn or even Torn Tools can flag if someone is in the same alliance so you don't accidentally hit them, and even seeing territories across your alliance would be easier. As a bonus if you wanted to really change some coding is add an alliance tag picture next to the faction tag. This is another way you could help easily identify who is in your alliance.
Now if you really wanna get into the buy-in side, you could require PT-Family in this example to pay Faction Points per every open Faction slot. This means if you want a 200 faction alliance, you need to spend 2,500 points each slot. Be around 86M per slot, 17.2B for the entire 200 Block. PT could ideally require the other faction to pay for the slot but it would also be a way to boost the usage of points that factions have stocked up in their armory.
Feel free to voice your feedback as this was just a topic of conversation last night among friends. I'm sure there is much more that could be done with an alliance management system other than what i stated above.
