As we approach the end of Autism Awareness Month, I just want to thank all who stand up for not just Autism but disabilities in general.

As an Autistic with a diagnosed Mental Disorder, I struggle greatly with many things especially socializing.

I spend my time studying but also gaming and advocating for Autism, Disabilities, Mental Health and Tamariki (Children).

As someone who has been through the equivalent of CPS in America in New Zealand, I feel like I have a wealth of experience and knowledge to dedicate to advocation in the field of tamariki but also Autism, Disabilities, and Mental Health.

FUN FACTS:

Autistics prefer not to use the puzzle piece due to it associating with an American organization called Autism Speaks. They advocate for a cure for Autism according to many Autistics and thus Autistics like to disassociate with them. The following images below represents what Autistics like to use instead of the puzzle piece:

Another symbol that represents Autism is a golden or rainbow coloured ribbon sign.

Autism is a wonderful gift and is not a disease. Whilst I get parents can find Autistics challenging, this is not because they're being naughty or badly behaved on purpose. Our brains are wired differently from those that are neurotypical (aka non-Autistic) and because of this, we need understanding and compassion from our neurotypical communities and it goes the same way for us to have understanding and compassion towards neurotypicals and help them be more fully informed of Autism.

Hello everyone.

What are some natural ways, besides prescribed medication, to remove indigestion and heartburn?

I currently take Omeprazole which I can't go a day without otherwise I have severe, and I mean severe acid reflux and a burning sensation in my throat.

Quickeze work well but again, that's not really a natural way. I'd rather be on less medication than the same amount or more than I'm already taking.

As per my discussion earlier with Hornz, I enquired as to why the laptop link was not showing up in the top right corner of the travel screen despite owning a laptop.

He stated a bug report was made with a response but I didn't hear anything back from her regarding where this response was or what it was.

I can confirm I definitely own a laptop.

The absence of a laptop link during travels can be quite confusing, especially to newer or returning players. Hornz thankfully sent me a link to the laptop but it's a bit inconvenient.

I would appreciate along with many others that the link be re-added.

Hello all.

Does anyone here play (or possibly have played) UnReal World?

I'm considering playing it and eventually getting into modding.

I have briefly run it and it looks pretty cool. It's an old-school sandbox game.


In the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2019, it was named the "First open-world survival video game" and also "Longest Update Support for a Game" but the latter one was recorded in the 2017 Gamer's Edition.

It was released in 1992 and has expanded ever since. Small community but a faithful one. Available on Steam if anyone wants to have a look at it.
